Today, I broke down crying a few times at work and when I got home. I woke up feeling emotionally exhausted, I wasn't as bubbly as I used to be. I had to figure out where these emotions were coming from and what triggered them. I have come to realized and acknowledged to myself that trying to put myself out there with the apps and meeting people has been draining me more than I thought. I didn't realize how much it was going to affect me mentally. Yet, here I am tearing up as I am typing this out. Entertaining all these matches and conversation as been a lot and I was never told dating and putting yourself out there would be so hard and challenging. I am TIRED, to the point where I uninstalled the apps and muted all notifications. I feel like I am running on negative energy and trying to recuperate at the same time. I just wanted to take this moment to share my vulnerability, which is something I have struggled for years. I will take a break from from the dating apps until I feel mentally ready.
