I’d been afraid of this for some time. Reading a tweet a few months back by someone who was jealous of her friend, because she was nursing Rickman. The tweet quickly disappeared. Reading about him leaving the film The Limehouse Golem. Everyone was very secret about the reason. Seeing one of his latest pictures, attending the press night of “Hangman”, looking a lot thinner and less healthy. Unfortunately, I was right. He was ill, very ill.

Looking back at his ‘world tour’ last year, promoting his film, it really was his ‘farewell tour’, visiting places and people he loved for the last time.
