Anael

There is an unbelievable amount written about this angel. Anael (also known as Haniel, but I’ll expand upon that in a moment) is usually listed as one of the seven archangels, as well as:

An angel of creation

An angel of the apocalypse

Angel over Friday

An angel of love

Angel of the star of love (Venus)

Angel of the 2nd and 9th hour of Sunday

Haniel and Anael (along with many, many other names) are usually listed as being the same angel, but I found some interesting sources that imply that Anael could also be a demon or fallen angel that is bound by or otherwise served Haniel.

As is typical style for angels with multiple attributed purposes, it’s likely that there’s more than one angel who goes by Anael or each of the added names are individual angels.
