There's Somethin in the Way she Moves

Aurora Amina is known for bringing a very raw, fierce, mystical, and sensual flavor to the stage in a very unapologetic and authentic fashion. Born and raised in the Dirty South, she comes from deep roots in faith, music, and linguistics, all of which are translated through her rhythmic storytelling. She rocks hips and heals hearts to the rhythms and the funky beats; her heart sings out full of emotion to the souls of the ancients within, beckoning with each movement.

She began her dancing career in 2014 with an earthshaking performance after an invitation from Kayla Scintilla to Evokation Sacred Art’s first ever live stage show in Sebastapol. Since then she has wowed audiences from Envsion Festival, to Red Rocks, Sonic Bloom, Fractal Planet, Camp Questionmark, Symbiosis and more while working alongside artists such as Mr. Carmack, Diplo, Thriftworks, the Russ Liquid Test, Beats Antique, Saqi, and most recently she began touring in the States with the live band Ott and the All-Seeing I.

Aurora embodies intuitive movement in such a unique way, capturing the soundscapes so deeply that one can’t help but feel the journey that she is inviting you to embark on with her. She’s a rhythmic storyteller; that’s the intention and art of her medicine. As she drops fully into the moment of the sounds, from there she is able to take the audience on a deeper, more emotionally charged journey thus connecting with the audience on heartwave frequencies.
