I really love Icewing spikes and I really enjoy stylizing them in my Icewing designs. Winter's spikes are shield shaped (...or supposed to be. I realized after I finished the art that I'm not sure how well that came across. Oh well). I think he has more spikes than the average Icewing.

His horns slightly point up, which is meant to signify his resilience and strength.

His feet are dark blue because I like that they are in his cover art. It's probably meant to be a lighting effect but I think it's neat.

I am really not comfortable coloring with textured brushes, which gave me a lot of trouble.

I thought about including Kinkajou along with her dialouge in Moon Rising about Winter being ~so tortured~ along with the headshot doodle on the left, and for what it's worth, the dialouge in my head to accompany the Qibli doodle was the bit about his impression of Winter in Winter Turning.
