ok , there is a LOT to unpack here . this was actually a much longer segment that you can watch if you click the link under the split of this post and skip ahead until you see the segment , but i had to cut a lot our just for the sake of conserving time .

some of my favorite moments ( + commentary on most of them ) - whole lot of talking below here because i loveee analyzing content like this when it comes to the hardys aghhh :

jeff starting off by saying he can ' t do this on his own , wanting matt to be by his side instead of separate and broken . very codependent aww

matt immediately following up by shifting the blame onto jeff , saying it ' s his fault that the hardys aren ' t a team anymore . i ' m getting a lot of " matt is trying his best to manipulate or guilt trip jeff " kinda thoughts from this , especially since he ' s forcing jeff to pick between changing himself to stay with matt vs staying the same but leaving matt ' s side

jeff looking for reassurance CONSTANTLY from matt . matt gives him a small amount of praise , still degrading him by calling him a mule and making it clear that jeff ' s efforts aren ' t up to his standards at all .

that reaaalllyyy gets jeff hopped up . he starts hurting anyone else in the ring with the two of them , yelling at matt as he does so in an attempt to get his attention and his approval .

" oh , so i dont have passion ? i don ' t have that fire anymore , right ? you wanna see PASSION , you wanna see FIRE ? ? ? " " WAS THAT GOOD MATT ? ? " " HOW ' S THAT FOR PASSION ? ( repeated multiple times ) " - all said by jeff . what a brat oh my god

matt kind of just smiling and laughing as jeff loses his mind all because of him , not making any efforts to stop him .

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE : " it doesn ' t matter anymore . was that good for ya ? are ya PROUD OF ME big brother ? ? " said by jeff after he TAKES OUT THE ENTIRE RING OF PEOPLE . JUST TO IMPRESS MATT . also him calling matt big brother while matt is clearly broken and not thinking right , almost as if to try and remind him . . . omgmghdgd it does stuff to me 😵‍💫😵‍💫

jeff puts al snow through a table , but is that enough to satisfy himself , even if matt appears pretty happy with it ? nope . he puts HIMSELF through the table next - JEFF WAS WILLING TO HURT SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL AS HIMMSELLFF JUST TO APPEASE MATT . IM GONNA BE SICK .

" the only person in the world who punishes me . . is me " yup , jeff is a brat , basically confirmed

matt getting all up in jeffs face at the end after jeff becomes broken , happy that he is actively making his little brother fall into a worse state than he entered the ring in 😵‍💫

also worth mentioning , the commentators saying " jeff was at his breaking point , and matt hardy is loving it " as well as " this might be exactly what matt hardy was trying to do " . broken matt is one manipulative son of a bitch , and it ' s so clear that his intention was to harm jeff as much as possible just to keep him together with him <3

little sidenote . . . under no circumstances should you be making this face while watching your own brother . it 100% looks like he ' s aroused or getting off to watching jeff do so much destruction to himself and the people around him just because it was what he demanded from him nngghfh
