Sorry it’s taken me so long to respond to this!! It’s hard for me to give advice on bleaching hair from black to white because I had it done professionally! My mom is a hairdresser so it was free for me, but I’m sure if I didn't have this connection it would have been SUPER expensive. Also, it took me FOREVER to get to platinum!! Like 6 months!! When I first had it bleached, it was kind of a peachy color so I put semi-perm pink dye over it so it didn’t look bad. Then I waited until it got a little bit stronger and bleached it again (I kept doing this, about every 2 months, over the course of 6 months). However, if you do decide to bleach your hair, I can recommend to get a silk pillowcase! it will keep your hair from breaking off in the back when you’re sleeping. also, use LOTS of conditioner ALL THE TIME. please just be nice to your hair!! <3
