If you had told me a year ago that this duo would be my favorite on the grid I would not have believed you. It probably all started when these two carried me in the f1 mobile game, if I’m being honest. Then there was Nico’s podium moment and Gabi’s reaction. I don’t know when it went from that to completely supporting their team, maybe Brazil last year? Whatever it was, I’m too far in now. I can never leave. I think the most beautiful part of watching them grow as a team is the dichotomy of the new and the old (sorry Nico), seeing how despite being from two different generations of racing, these two can get along so well. It brings me a lot of joy. Also the social media posts. I don’t know how they’re getting away with what they do there. I hope they never stop being weird. Here’s to a better rest of the season, Gabi’s first podium soon, and the car not blowing up anymore! Please!
