I am almost married and I haven’t told you about it.

Helena was sitting with Anabelle and Nell as they waited for their food to arrive. Annabelle and brought a book with her and was happily reading though it while Nell was texting her friends about winter prom. Ana had started in school now and Helena was worried about how she settling in as the youngster played her card very close to her chest. “Mommy…c….can I please be excused? I need to use the bathroom” Ana asked in a whisper “of course you can, sweetheart. Would you like Nell or me to come with you?” She offered but the child shook her head “ no thank you” she smiled and got to her feet. “It’s so…odd to see a kid her age..reading!” Nell commented as she picked up the copy of wind in the willows Ana had been reading “wow I read this in school years ago” she smiled. Neither of them had noticed the book silver oil mark in the shape of a horse that had fallen out of the book. @mountmeadow

Nick laughed slightly as he watched his daughter make silly faces at the monkeys “daddy? They are bit…creepy aren’t they? They look so like us!” Ev wondered aloud. With a Smile Nick went over and crouched next to her “your gram-gram feels that way about monkeys too” he told her “but I know what you mean! They are a bit creepy” he admitted and looked up at the giant silverback that was pressed against the glass. “He can’t get out, right?” Ev asked and cuddled into him “No, they can’t, baby girl. Don’t worry” he kissed her head then stood up, put Ev on his hip and went back to Aubrey and Leo. Ev Smiled and rested her head on her father’s shoulder “are you scared of any animals?” Ev asked Aubrey before glancing back at the gorilla “I don’t think I like him. @aubrycplza

You inviting me to a mystery room in your home is the best thing to happen to me since I got married so between the headlocks and this, christopher is already in big trouble. Okay, but if he comes knocking on the window in the early hours of the morning looking like a lost puppy we have to take him in, but I’ll allow you to roast him to your hearts content. Not literally though. I feel like I know what you’re thinking already and I’m trying not to laugh….

Chris should always be shaking in his boots. There’s no point in being married if you can’t give him a little scare every now and then. Oh, fine. that’s so awesome! i’ll send you a signed lavender vinyl in return for our friendship. i’m an aunt to friends kids, so it would be a great read for me to them, though i’ll read it myself first, lets be honest. i’m in town for awhile since interviews are starting to calm down, whenever you’re free, i will be!

I will display it proudly every time I invite Jake over for an annoying session. As you should, it’s a children’s book but I assure you that it’s full entertainment for adults as well. I’m free now, so lets go do the damn thing.

I bet you felt at home dressing up as a witch for the book tour, which i had no idea you had those, that is so awesome! I’ve gotten creative and can kind of make my own, so I’m doing that for now because I’ve seen others online try and get one, and the stores are out of it. I will go, and I think we should be friends. The ex club…or something way more creative

I really did, it’s the one constant in my life. Yeah, I came out with the first one a couple years ago and decided the world needed a second one. I’ll send you a copy of both, they’re technically children's books but they’re a fun read either way. The stores are out of everything, makes it difficult to do fun things but it’s whatever. Let’s go we’ll have our first club meeting over tacos.

Have you melted yet now that Halloween’s over? I have a bucket and mop ready to store you away for next year. Haven’t seen you since the wedding, though. Fuck if I know. I live for Halloween then hibernate until it comes around next year. Or, well, try to hibernate but nobody ever lets me. You can’t hibernate when babies are around. Chris taught me that years ago and while that man may look very stupid he’s surprisingly smart. Oh, yeah. I forgot you were a part of that show. A bit mad I didn’t get to work with Lizzie for a second time but it’s fine, you and Kathryn are cool too, I guess. I’ll have to check out Tipsy Tavern, sounds like the best option out of all the ones I’ve been given so far.

I use to love Halloween when my children where smaller but now I just…miss all those silly times we use to have. I can make you some tacos, my dear? As for what I’m going to to this winter? I don’t really know in all honesty

Did you live your best witchy life last night? There were a ton of people out last night so i hope you did! We get cold, and we also drink coffee. I’m more of a fall fan myself, so I’m still living in PSL land for another month. I haven’t been here long, but the mexican restaurant in town is so good. It has the best margarita’s I’ve ever had.

I sure did. I do every Halloween. I also got to dress witchy while I did my press tour for part two of a Christmas witch books, so that was fun. Nothing wrong with PSL, I went to get one today and screamed because the christmas cups are out at Starbucks. I’ve heard stories, go with me. Let’s see how much damage we can do. We should be friends anyway since we both dated Jake.

See, I’m right there with you. Now that the one season I live for is over and everything’s going to go cold and gross, I just want to enjoy a space that reminds me less of that.
