Of course she wasn’t paying attention to him, why would she? He was just the guard that was standing between her and the cafe. “The cafe is not open yet.” He repeated. “They should be open soon… it’s like they don’t realize we can’t function without coffee.”
Aubrey chuckled softly before a playful pout worked its way to her lips. “Honestly they should open earlier, no one in this town sleeps and coffee is as much in our veins as blood is.” she’d shrug her shoulders before looking over the others shoulder at the cafe. “You’re a guard, technically you could sneak us in though.”Â
