雨滴を纏いて

2019年、六本木ヒルズ。

Clearly Grace’s first moment of adoring Rocky was when they start to dance together. Rocky’s willingness to play gave him joy.

He starts to trust Rocky when he takes off his helmet and there’s air for him to breathe. He took a leap of faith and was caught.

Working together made him respect him. So did the courage in “Grace Rocky save stars.”

And I think Rocky begging to watch him sleep made him trust him more. Rocky wanted to protect him. Grace needed that kindness. Rocky knew loneliness. Grace knew it too.

Then Rocky learning about Earth with Grace made him very fond. Rocky was willing to help hold Grace’s memories, his love for his lost world. And Rocky being a romantic who still wanted more time with his mate made Grace fonder; Rocky knew love, too.

Then Rocky’s horror that Grace would die opened Grace’s heart to the core. Someone would grieve him, someone loved him. Someone needed him to live.

So when Rocky almost dies to save him Grace is stunned, but he understands why. They love each other now. Love is brave.

It’s time to shoot the beauty of the fall season again

Originally, I went in worried the opposite would happen. Growing up, I've been taught that Nigeria, the country, is homophobic. (I was born in America.) But over time, I learned that there's tons of other queer Nigerians; some are out, and some are in the closet 😭.

I'm also not used to this much attention, lol
