STORY
From the life of a simple sailor, to the ungodly nightmare of being framed for a crime he did not commit, Edmond Dantes was torn away from the woman he loved and imprisoned with the hellish Chateau d'If for fourteen years. Many of those years were nothing but pure torment, both physically and mentally, but with a mind of steel, Edmond avoided falling into despair, and at some point, he would encounter a fellow prisoner by the name of AbbĂŠ Faria, who would come to be a mentor of sorts, and a father figure.
For seven years, AbbĂŠ Faria educated Edmond, teaching him everything he knew, from the various facets of scholarship, to swordsmanship, and in return, Edmond assisted AbbĂŠ in digging an escape tunnel out of Chateau d'If. AbbĂŠ Faria would die before the tunnels completion, but before his soul departed, AbbĂŠ revealed to Edmond the location of a great treasureâ the treasure of Monte Cristoâ which he would claim after his eventual escape from Chateau d'If.
With a near unparalleled intellect, a masterful skill for swordplay, riches beyond imagining, and a powerful relic being merged with his soul, Edmond assumed the moniker of âthe Count of Monte Cristoâ and, after a small quest to avenge Abbe Faria, he began a grand plot of revenge against those who had deceived him in the past. One by one, those responsible for Edmondâs imprisonment would be brought down, each of them meeting rather fitting ends at the hands of the man they had wronged.
When all was said and done, The Count came to feel regret and anguish for his blind pursuit of revenge, becoming reformed as a result, and later, he would leave France, departing to an unknown location, where he lived out the rest of his life in relative peace.
Alas, The Count that would later ascend to the Throne of Heroes would not harbor that aforementioned regret or anguish, nor would they be âreformedââ within their heart, vengeance and all of itâs dark, blood stained halls still called to them.
PERSONALITY
At the end of their story, Edmond Dantes renounced their vengeful, bitter ways, but this man is not that âEdmond Dantesâ, they are a different person, or rather, they are the manifestation of that mans vengeful âCount of Monte Cristoâ persona. A product of cruelty and betrayal,The Count is manipulative, cunning, prideful, sardonic, and prone to violence as well as bitterness, with a dark flair for the dramatic to boot.
The Count loathes the many evils present throughout the world, and loathes even more those who embody and/or perpetuate those evils to the detriment of humanity. The Count seeks to exterminate evil and itâs agents entirely, to wreak vengeance upon them on behalf of humanity for the many atrocities that plague the world and itâs innocent people. However, the stance The Count takes against those atrocities and the evils that fuel them does not make him a quote âgoodâ person, as he sometimes becomes too zealous in pursuing their destruction, in which he occasionally commits the most extreme acts that no relatively âgood" person would ever do. In particularly troublesome cases, The Countâs fervor for the vengeance he seeks will outright blind him to the truth of a matter, making his actions all the more deplorable.
The Count does not present or think of himself as a âgoodâ person either, he thinks of himself as necessary evil or monster, as a destructive force of nature that can birth peace, justice, and tranquility from the ashes left in its wakeâ a necessary evil and destructive force that will one day have to be destroyed, too. That being said, despite some of his more negative actions and his personal views of himself, The Countâs heart is technically in the right placeâ he wants to see the good parts of humanity ultimately thrive and evildoers suffer for the trouble they have wrought on the world, he is just too bitter and violent for his own good.
The Countâs negative tendencies and/or qualities are not the whole of his being, though. For all of his moments of bitterness, and the violence he is oft prone too, The Count can be well-mannered, dutiful, charming and humorous (in his own way) depending on who he is interacting with, and beyond that, he does have a softer side locked deep inside him, a side that one can catch glimpses of if they somehow manage to grow close enough with him. Those who manage to bring this softer side of The Count out are undoubtedly important to him, even if he may claim otherwise at times, and for these individuals, he will cherish them deeply, and strive to safeguard them from harm.
PARAMATERS
STR: B
END: A+

MAG: B
NP: A
AVENGER: A
WISDOM OF PREDICAMENT: A
OBLIVION CORRECTION: A
SELF REPLENISHMENT: C
DETERMINATION OF STEEL: EX
GOLDEN RULE: A+
SKILLS (in depth)
Avenger: Avengers are fueled by murderous hatred and rage, and their Avenger skill measures their ability to accumulate hatred within others, hatred which they can then leech off of and use to empower themselves. In The Countâs case, at a ranking of A, he is extremely proficient in leeching off the hatred and grudges he detects within and/or elicits from his opponents souls, making it far easier for him to translate those negative emotions into power, in the form of improved parameters.
The exact amount of power The Count can gain from this varies, but it generally translates out to a temporary ++ or +++ modifier to his STR, END, and Noble Phantasms (excluding Wait and Hope). This skill also allows The Count to receive a healthy boost to mana regeneration every time he takes damage, and at a ranking of A, this boost is usually astounding.
Oblivion/Memory Correction: a Class Skill of the Avenger class. It represents the Avenger in questionâs tenacity for holding grudges, and remembering the wrongs done to them, or others. The higher oneâs ranking in this skill, the more critical damage they deal in battle. At A ranking, The Count deals great critical damage.
Self Replenishment - Mana: The final class skill for those of the Avenger class, it allows an Avenger to constantly generate magical energy until their hatred and vengeance is, in their minds, accomplished. The amount generated is usually minuscule, but at The Countâs ranking of C, this magical energy is enough to allow The Count to stay materialized without a master, and when balanced with a healthy helping of human souls, The Count could theoretically operate in a Holy Grail war on their own. With a master behind them, though, this extra magical energy still comes in handy.
Determination of Steel: A personal skill of The Countâs, it is the dynamism and mind of steel of the man who walked on the path of revenge throughout his entire life after breaking out of the Château dâIf prison, which was even called the Hell on this Earth. This skill results in The Count being able to block out all instances of pain, allowing him to fight on unperturbed by grievous wounds and damage in general. It is, however, also a representation of his mental fortitude as well, possessing determination of unbreakable steelâ as in, when The Count sets his sights on a goal, nothing, and no one, will dissuade him from pursuing it.
Even if the odds are against him 100 to 1, The Count will not be deterred. This skill does not guarantee The Count will succeed in the goals they pursue, but it greatly increases their chances of doing so (especially when his Wisdom of Predicaments skill bestows him with generous luck), and always leaves open the possibility of him succeeding no matter what the situationâ which means that at times, he can defy destiny and fate themselves, just as he had in his story.
Golden Rule: A personal skill, this is the representation of the wealth The Count possessed in life. The Countâs wealth was said to have been âbeyond imaginingâ, and indeed, just as Abbe Faria had told him, money never became a consequence for The Count after they received the Treasureâs they did on the Island of Monte Cristo. As a servant, The Count has access to this wealth, which can be a great boon to his master.
Wisdom of Predicaments: The last personal skill of The Countâs, it allows The Count to â call upon Luck with a precedence in critical situationsâ. It is the wisdom brought about by the abundant knowledge he received from Abbe Faria and his own natural intelligence. This skill, as you can imagine, comes in handy, seeing as The Count possesses no Luck parameter, though it goes beyond just helping The Count out in tight situationsâ thanks to the special combination of this skill and his Avenger class, this skill also allows The Count to use the Item Creation skill at (which is usually only reserved to the Caster Class) at Rank B.
The only caveat is that the Luck bestowed upon The Count from this skill can varyâ usually he will pull the effects of Luck that are equivalent to a B ranking, and on very, very rare occasions, A+ ranking.
NOBLE PHANTASM(S)
Monte Cristo Mythologie | Anti-Unit ( C )
This is The Count of Monte Cristoâs way of lifeâ acting as the incarnation of revengeâ which has been sublimated into a Noble Phantasm through his manifestation as an Avenger. As he did not fit under any other sort of class, his body that manifested as Avenger was converted into a Noble Phantasm.
It allows Avenger a number of effectsâ immunity to poisons and mental interference, resistance to magical attacks, the ability to conceal and/or falsify his class and parameters in the eyes of others, the unleashing of pent up hatred and grudges in the minds and souls of his opponents upon speaking the noble phantasms true nameâ but the most notable ability it grants him are the flames of hatred.
By projecting his hatred into magical power, Avenger can generate a poisonous black flame that he can use to harm his foes, and protect himself. Whether it is launched at enemies from a distance or delivered to them in melee, this flame damages Avengerâs opponents directly, ignoring armours, magical resistances, and even magical barriers, shattering them with ease.
It is even possible for those subjected to this black flame to have their very souls burned away, even if they are immortal beings, as was the case with Michael Roa Valdamjong.
This Noble Phantasm is related to the Treasure of Monte Cristo, which housed fourteen artifacts, one of which was a Treasure of Darkness, a treasure that held the power to remake a person. This âTreasure of Darknessâ was a legend (Divine Construct) hidden in the mountain of Christ that represented the despair of those without God, the flames of hell, and the void. It bestowed a power equal to that from the Age of Gods that forced a special Magic Circuit and Magic Crest into the user, forever joining the two, until death.
Attendre, EspĂŠrer: Wait, and Hope | Anti-Unit (B)
An unbelievable recovery Noble Phantasm that is capable of bringing Avenger or an ally back from the clutches of death (completely healing them), while also conferring itâs targets with a temporary boost to their parameters, skills, and noble phantasms. The boost itself gives its targets respective skills, parameters, and noble phantasms an increase of one rank, which lasts for roughly one hour.
It is the ray of brilliant, shining hope amid the darkness of one who has fallen into tragedy, despair, and regret, being activated when Avenger speaks the words: âWait, and Hope.â
The steeled, unworldly mental power of Edmond Dantès, cultivated while imprisoned within the Château d'If, sublimated into a Noble Phantasm. With this noble phantasm, The Count is able to perform super high speed thinking, which he can also reflect upon his body, allowing him to achieve feats of agility/speed that are immense even by servant standardsâ this however, is only a passive effect of the noble phantasm.
When the words, âI donât need any mercyâ My path goes beyond love and hate! Enfer Château d'If! are chanted, this noble phantasmâs true potential is activated, making The Countâs movements become so fast that he is able to escape from the prisons of time and space themselvesâ though any prison, abstract or not, would likely be unable to hold him.
While acting outside of time and space, time appears to effectively freeze for anyone but The Count, and as he moves at incomprehensible speeds, many âafterimagesâ of The Count will appear, those of which can and will harm his targets as they attack along with him simultaneously. After The Countâs (and his afterimages) initial black-flame laden strikes are dealt, he will levitate into the air and unleash a mighty blast of black flames upon his targetsâ the blast would do great damage on its own, but with all of The Countâs afterimages copying this attack, the combined blast is immense, and will likely kill anything it hits (if said targets weren't already wiped out by The Countâs initial attacks).
After The Countâs final blast hits his target(s), the speed of his actions return to their usual levels, and for everyone else, time âresumesââ though his targets likely drop dead at this point, if they weren't already reduced to ashes. Even if a target somehow isnât outright killed by The Countâs time-bending, black flame ridden onslaught, their bodies will most likely suffer grave damage, and if they are a servant, itâs highly unlikely that their spirit core isnât irreparably damaged in some way.
All noble-phantasms can be thought of as âtrump cardsâ in some sense, but Enfer Chateau d'If is truly an embodiment of such a thing, with their being few who can withstand it.
Paradis Château d'If: O' You, Conquer the Brilliance Road | Barrier (B+)
Seven ordeals are inflicted on the soul and spirit of the target. The spirit of the King of the Cavern is an impregnable fortress with golden walls, and at the same time, it is a prison from which no one with a life can escape. By entering the spirit of a target within range, seizing, eroding, and assimilating the spirit of the target, it constructs a subspecies Reality Marble to put the soul and spirit of the target to the test.
Paradis Château d'If: O' Stars, Conquer the Brilliance Road | Anti-Unit (A)
Strictly speaking, it is a Noble Phantasm similar to and related to the aforementioned O' You, Conquer the Brilliance Road, but it is registered as a separate Noble Phantasm due to the change in its performance when used for attack.
After momentarily leading the target into his own prison, The Count moves at ultra-high speed to get as close to his target as possible. After continuously attacking with multiple giant claws composed of his poisonous black flames, The Count forcibly restrains the target. By letting his magical power run amok, The Count causes the target to both burn and then violently explode.
Although the final explosion is extremely powerful, it is not the true value of this Noble Phantasm. The true value of "O' Stars, Conquer the Brilliance Road" as an offensive Noble Phantasm lies in its ability to always hit its mark. This Noble Phantasm is an ultra high-speed approach to an opponent who has been captured in a mental prison and has nowhere to run (similar to that of his Noble Phantasm Enfer Château d'If).
After having appeared to their master in a âdreamâ during a time of great trouble, The Count was subsequently summoned by said master into the halls of Chaldea, where he now stands as one of the many heroic spirits helping to fight back the forces that threaten humanity. (the countâs master in this verse is ritsuka by default, but this verse can accommodate other fate protag ocâs in their place, too!)
FATE/APOCRYPHA - ALL THE ASHES IN MY WAKE
Summoned by Hyouma Sagara, a master of the Black Faction, The Count enters this Great Holy Grail war under the Avenger class, and from the moment they open their eyes, they are ready to enter the fight. The Count and their master, however, struggle to get along almost immediately, and while The Count sticks with them for a number of days, he soon learns that his master is nothing more than a black-hearted scoundrel, and that The Count could not and would not tolerate. Needless to say, Hyouma ended up dead in the streets, and The Count, now free from their contract, had set out to win this war on their own.
With a plethora of servants to overcome, many of them bearing great power, attaining The Grail is far easier said than done, but The Count will see their dream, their vengeance, made reality, or they will die tryingâ there will be no in-between.
FATE/STAY NIGHT - THE BLACK FLAME OF VENGEANCE
The Count has found themselves tossed into the midst of the Fifth Holy Grail War, however the circumstances surrounding their summoning are most unusual. The Count was materialized without a master, for starters, and they were materialized under the Avenger class, both factors being true oddities for this conflict. The Count could understand the latterâ there was no better class for them to be summoned under than Avenger, however even The Count scratched their head when it came to their masterless summoning.
The Count could only reason that they had been summoned by the Grail itself somehow, though for what purpose they couldnât be sure. What The Count was sure about, however, was that the Holy Grail was ripe for the taking, and with it, they could achieve the one thing they wanted most: the eradication of all evil, or rather, vengeance for humanity, against the evils that plague it.
AUâS
AUâS PREFACE
Betrayal will do horrible things to a man. Torture will, too, and no man knows those two horrors better than Edmond Dantes, or as he calls himself now, The Count of Monte Cristo. This manâs life was set to be relatively peaceful and prosperous, but envy can be a deadly poison, one that can overcome even the staunchest hearts, and those closest to Edmond, unfortunately, let their hearts drown in that toxin.
Edmondâs good name was the first thing to go, tarnished by false, but grave accusations from those he once thought of as friends, then, on what was to be his wedding day no less, his life was taken from him by those with corrupt grips on power, not taken away in the literal sense, but in the way one loses their home, their partner, their freedom, everything (or almost everything).
The only life Edmond was set to live from that point on was one spent in a small, foul room in a prison far away from society, where unspeakable acts were performed on him day in and day out, acts of torture that would break the strongest wills, but not Edmond, that was the one thing they could not take from him, his hope, his determination, his will to keep living. That determination was tested of course, constantly pressured and prodded, and there came a point one day where even he considered giving up, but that is when he met AbbĂŠ Faria, and that is when Edmondâs fortunes finally started to shift.
For seven years, Edmond studied under the wise AbbĂŠ Faria, who taught Edmond all he knew, from scholarship, to swordsmanship, and everything in-between, all on the condition that Edmond kept hope in his heart, and worked toward breaking the two of them out of that dreaded prison. Indeed, Edmond and Abbe Faria would one day succeed in digging a tunnel that would see them both free men once again.
Alas, Abbe Faria would not survive the escape, and would unfortunately die in that accursed prison, but before AbbĂŠ Faria passed away, they would reveal to Edmond the location of a great treasure, the Treasure of Monte Cristo, which he would soon go on to claim after escaping from that horrid fortress. With great skills, great riches, and great power now in his possession, Edmond assumed the moniker of âThe Count of Monte Cristoâ, and set out into the world with one thing on his mind; vengeance.
FANDOMLESS AU | WAY DOWN WE GO
Having received the treasure left to him by Abbe Faria, Edmond Dantes dies, The Count of Monte Cristo is born, and the hatred burning within their soul sets them on a path of pure, unbridled vengeance as he ventures out into the world⌠This quest will undoubtedly take The Count to many parts of the globe, and there's no telling what, or who (outside those specific individuals he pursues) he will run into along the way.
â (pretty much just a general, catch-all AU / fandomless verse that leans toward modern!fantasy, but can accommodate other settings if need be.)

JJK AU | DEAD RINGER
Arriving in Shibuya, The Count is currently pursuing an individual known as Tarantella, a heinous Curse User who was responsible for the imprisonment, and ultimately the death of The Count's mentor. The Count's pursuit of Tarantella is twofold, however-- not only does he seek vengeance for his mentor, he also believes that Tarantella holds secrets that may lead him to the various individuals responsible for his own imprisonment in the past. Unfortunately, in the midst of this pursuit, and thanks to the machinations of Tarantella, The Count has found himself entangled in the dangerous web of events currently unfolding across Japan's Jujutsu world.

POKEMON AU | NEVER TAME YOUR DEMONS
The Count is, naturally, on a quest for revenge against those who wronged him, a quest that will undoubtedly take him across every region in the Pokemon world (and maybe beyond). Many villainous people are in The Countâs cross-hairs here, and if he has his way, he will see practically every evil team/organization and their leaders perish. Helping The Count in this quest for revenge are is his riches beyond imagining, his trusted team of pokemon, and a strange item from Ultra Space that gives both him and his pokemon strange, but useful abilities (black fire).
Despite his quest for revenge being a main focus, though, The Count will often find themselves caught up in all manners of situations, sometimes of their own accord (like when they challenge Gym Leaders) and sometimes not.
- The aforementioned âstrange itemâ is a talisman that bonded with The Countâs body when he first picked it up. It bestows upon The Count the power to create black flames, and use these in various ways to combat his foes. This item also has the added effect of allowing any fire or dark type pokemon The Count has to do the same, in the form of special moves.Â
- Black fire moves is slightly stronger than regular fire ones, and their burning effects canât be removed by healsâ they have to run their course. Their burning effects also have a higher rate of occurrence.
- Black Fire moves deal great damage to all types except water and normal types, where they are not very effective.
- The Countâs Darkrai is shiny.Â
- The Count can speak to pokemon, and understand them, another effect of the strange item that fused with their body.
FE: THREE HOUSES AU | HELLFIRE TAKE MY SOUL
After escaping from Fort Merceus and claiming the Treasure of Monte Cristo, The Count, under the guise of a wealthy, mysterious noble hailing from a faraway land, first sets out to avenge Abbe Faria, and then moves on to his own traitorous, former friendsâ Duke Aegir and everyone else who had even the smallest hand in his imprisonment. The Countâs quest for revenge does not interact with the main events of Three Houses for the most part, but The Count often finds themselves at the Officers Academy and Garreg Mach during their travels, and itâs here that there is plenty of chances for them to get caught up in the greater situations occurring on Fodlan (though The Count will always be more focused on their revenge than anything else).
â Among the Treasures of Monte Cristo that The Count claimed was a talisman containing  Timotheosâ (the dark dragon) blood, and a relic corresponding to the crest The Count received after consuming the blood. The Countâs hair was subsequently turned white after consuming the blood.
â The hatred in The Countâs heart twiststhe powers of their Crest, however, or rather awakens something in it, giving it other effects on top of its usual âOccasionally does not consume a use for recovery magicâ effectâ i.e, changing its first function to work for all types of magic, and giving the count access to a unique form of dark magic that involves the use of black flames.
â The relic The Count received is a pair of unique gauntlets that, when used by someone with a crest of  Timotheos, occasionally causes an explosion of magical energy upon attacking foes that does not use up any resources from the user. In The Countâs possession, the magical energy explosion is always switched to black flames.
DEMON SLAYER AU | LOW LAYS THE DEVIL
Before setting out to take vengeance on his own foes, The Count sets his sights on those who caused Abbe Fariaâs imprisonment, and it turns out to be a twisting, convoluted path that eventually seeâs The Count tracking a murderous, potentially demonic figure known as âTarantellaâ, a Holy Church priest who has recently set out on a âreligiousâ mission to the lands of Nihon. On Tarantellaâs trail, The Count arrives in the land of the rising sun, and finds himself pulled farther and farther into itâs blood soaked, demon-laden underworld than he thought he wouldâŚ

While the Count on this blog is a portrayal from the Fate Series at their core, they are also heavily inspired by various other pieces of media that depict or are related to The Count of Monte Cristo story itself. Going even further, The Count on this blog is also written with heavy headcanon-ing on my part. Therefore my portrayal of the Count should be considered heavily 'canon-divergent'.
Moreover, I do not consider myself part of the Fate RPC in general-- I will definitely seek to have my Count interact with muses from the series, but I will also be engaging in a great deal of AU or crossover writing here, and may wind up writing more in those veins than within the Fate setting. If any of that is not to your liking, well, now is your chance to part ways. Â
Otherwise, hello! My name is Mark, he/him, 29, just surviving out here! Please, keep reading down below. Â Â Â
ANYWAY, ACTUAL RULES
1. This blog is low activity, meaning that my activity can ebb and flow but will generally be pretty sparse. I work a very time and sanity consuming job that, well, eats up about 80% of my week and my energy e.e but I will try to be here  as much as I can. Â
2. This blog is selective, and mutualâs only, a.k.a, I can be kinda choosy in regards to who I follow back, and I will only interact IC with those I follow back. If you follow me and I donât follow you back in a few days, Iâm probably not going to, sorry (unless iâm on hiatus or something in which case Iâm not actively checking up on my blog or followers or anything sdfjhgsdfjghs). I generally follow back all types of blogs (canonâs/multiâs/ocâs/etc) provided Iâm familiar with their fandoms and/or can see us interacting in some way. Deplorables please dni though. Â
3. This blog does practice mains, and exclusives, but the latter will only ever be used for my closest friends. The latter aside, I am definitely open to writing with multiple portrayals of a muse, though mains will get higher priority, should I have them. Â
4. GODMODDING/META-GAMING: Having to put this down as a rule feels so cursed in the lords year 2022 like, youâd think most people would know this by now, but, for the people in the back I guess; donât god mod or try to control my muse without my permission and all that! Â
5. REPLY SPEED/LENGTH: I can be the slowest writer in the known universe so please keep that in mind when you are writing with me. sometimes it can take me weeks, or even a month or more than that to get to replies. i know that isnât ideal for some people, and if that puts you off from wanting to write with me i completely understand, but thatâs just how my brain works. sometimes i can put things out relatively fast, but thanks to the various factors of my life, most of the time my writing frequency is sporadic and my muse for threads can ebb and flow, so [insert shrugging here] that just how it be. Â
When it comes to reply length, iâm a big quality over quantity person. I literally do not care how big or small your reply is so long as you show enthusiasm and give me enough to work with when it comes to my response. likewise, iâd ask that you donât hold me to any certain âquantityâ when it comes to my writing. iâll make an attempt to match your length, but at the end of the day, i might not always be able to do that. i will, however, make sure to give you something to work with, instead of leaving the metaphorical âballâ in your court all the time. Â
6. NSFW?: I donât expect a ton of sexual-esque NSFW stuff to happen on this blog, but I guess it is possible. NSFW of any kind will of course be tagged accordingly, and put under readmores, but as far as hard-core smut goes, I do not see myself ever publicly writing that, so situations of that nature on the dash, if they do occur, will likely be taken down the âfade to blackâ route. Â
7. SHIPPING?: Shipping is not a huge priority for me, outside of the ships I have with my GFâs muses. That said, I am potentially open to shipping  provided there is good ic chemistry, and proper ooc communication, but we'll have to see how that goes. Â
8.  MUN SELF-CALLOUT: I suffer from crippling social anxiety and Iâm horrible about approaching people first, so if you want to write with me, your best bet is to just hit up my inbox to talk about things! if anything i try to keep an eye out for starter calls but i dont usually keep up with the dash so, those tend to escape me unfortunately sdfkhjsdfhjksd. If Iâm following you, chances are that I want to write with you, but if I havenât approached you yetâŚ.. you know why: iâm too socially inept for my own good sdfkjhsfkhjsdfkhj Â
9. I prefer not to engage with callouts or drama, and would prefer to see you, as a follower of mine, not fill my dash with the latter and be wise about interacting with the former. I personally will reblog callouts if I find there is real merit in them and awareness to spread, but otherwise I will generally avoid such things. Â Â
OTHER IMPORTANT TIDBITS
â I can understand on some level why some people prefer their new followers to send in passwords or asks or something but Iâm just not comfortable doing that Iâm sorry sfhjkgsdgh if iâve followed you, you can be assured that I have read your rules, but if you absolutely require me to send something in to confirm that then uhâŚ.. sorry its not going to happen ): Â
â I donât engage in fight threads TOO often but I love them and am definitely down for brawls between our muses! That said Iâd prefer we as munâs sorta talk about where we expect those fights to go, and be realistic about our museâs capabilities and such, especially if its a fight thread that may wind up with one of our muses being seriously injured! Â
â Mutualâs are welcome to ask for my discord, but I donât talk on there very much or use it oftenâ it is a better place to contact me for plotting or other rp related things, though SFHSGHJDF Â WILL ADD MORE LATER MAYBE? THANK YOU FOR READING THUS FAR THO UR AWESOME! Â Â
- As a note, all Manga-esque icons used for rp purposes on this blog were sourced from materials I or my gf purchased or from materials that are available to the public!!
tfw the count thinks about abbe faria and louis dantes
ok but meme aside,
the death of abbe faria still really bothers the count, even as a servant, and he isnât likely to talk about it. the count got ârevengeâ for abbe faria yes, and he does take comfort in knowing achieved it, but the day he lost abbe faria and the situation in which they perished, that experience is still deeply burned into his mind, and itâs a source of woe that often comes back to bite at him-- the guy was practically a second father to the count, and he took abbe fariaâs loss just as one would take the loss of any cherished parent. speaking of which,
then you have the countâs actual father, louis, who the count treasured, who descended into poverty after the countâs imprisonment, and who eventually died a grieving, and starving beggar. the count didnât even know his father was dead until after he escaped prison, so not only did he have to deal with the pain of losing abbe faria, oh no! a short time later after abbe fariaâs death, the count had to come back to marseilles, hoping to see his father again after so long, only to find out that he had also lost louis to the worst circumstances possible, which was another devastating blow to his heart, something that would come to haunt him, and is still haunting him as a servant, too, despite the count inevitably getting revenge for louis as well.
but tl;dr: the count is just really grieved over what happened to faria and louis, the former who was basically a father to him and the latter who was literally one, and the pain he feels for the way these cherished people died and his inability to save them is always lingering at the back of his mind, if not assaulting him full force on a particularly bad day.
note: if anything, these woes are one of the signs that despite what the count says, he still has a healthy bit of humanity left inside himself (because would a true monster truly mourn over something like lost parents?), but its also just?? oof, lots of oof.
note 2: hmmm maybe his trauma over the loss of his father figures is somehow tied to why he subconsciously keeps becoming a father-figure to other pple... hmm no that would be crazy......dont listen to this stop reading this post already you fools.

the count slides da vinci a few rare prisms that may or may not have come from burning certain saints. "Best of birthday wishes to you, I suppose."
@attendreesperer
âIâm counting on Ritsuka to have approved these.â Poking fun of him, Leonardo already knew where the rare prisms had come from. After all, anything like that could not be done without her watchful eye on the presence. Yet she accepted the prisms and the birthday wishes while handing out a certain craft essence in return.

Things were frantic in Chaldeaâs halls; they were getting ready for the arrival of the new director and his associates. Many Masters and Servants had left, but a few remained, Emma herself included. She was to remain at Chaldea until her vocal cords recovered, which had been harmed in the explosion that started Ritsukaâs career. Emma wasnât envious of the Master, it sounds like they had been through a lot and Emma wasnât sure if she could handle that strain. She had to ask them about their adventures.
Emma wandered around, before settling on a couch in front of one of the windows. Now that humanity had been saved, the skies were clear and blue, with some clouds in the air. Emma was swaying her head to a song she had trapped in her mind when she heard footsteps.
The girl turned, spotting the Avenger. It seemed he had not left Chaldea yet, which was sort of a relief. Emma felt safer with the Servants around, even if they werenât really needed anymore.
âAvenger!â Emma waved, a smile on her face. Her voice was hoarse, but usable. âLook at the sky! Itâs such a pretty blueâŚâ

The Count had felt the temptation to depart as other servants had. Humanity had been saved from arguably the greatest evils it ever faced (Goetia, an Elder God, the events of Shinjuku), and one could say the world was now more or less âsafeâ. The Count, however, knew that his work was far from over. For starters, evil still persisted among humanity, deep within the souls of the selfish and wicked, and that alone prevented The Count from departing-- until evil was fully eradicated from existence every shape or form, The Count wouldnât be going anywhere. There was a more pressing matter that kept The Count around Chaldea, however; a feeling in his soul, that out there somewhere, skulking about in the shadows, was yet another threat that would push humanity to the brink. The Count couldnât put his finger on exactly what that threat was, whoâs face it bore, or when it would show itself, but he could feel the trouble approaching, and his intuition was almost never wrong.
It was the aforementioned presentiment and more that were at the forefront of when he heard a somewhat familiar voice address him, âYou are still here, are you?â says The Count, sounding mildly surprised, after he cast his gaze in Emmaâs direction. âThe sky is, interesting, I suppose.â Not the most enthusiastic response ever made, but The Count does go on to admit, âIf anything, it appears far more serene than it has in quite some time-- it should always look this way. Should.â However, The Count, walking up to one of the windows, looking out into that beautiful blue sky, finishes with something rather gloomy, cryptic. âTake care to enjoy this sky and the peace it spawned from while they both last; neither will remain unsullied for long.â
âGood morning Avenger,â She greets from her place in front of the stove. Like clock-work the Alter-Ego was busy preparing morning meals for the staff. âDid you come by for something to eat?â
âI did not.â replies The Count, bluntly, stepping into Alter-egoâs dwelling. His eyes trained on the other servant, The Count quickly adds, âIf you are making extra, I shall not turn down a meal, but I have come here on more important business-- you, I, and...â The Count pauses, âanother, have been selected to participate in Master Ritsukaâs upcoming assignment. It is imperative I speak with you on the matter.â
