my mom is in fact aware that dandelions exist. she temporarily forgot the name and there was some miscommunication.

she is familiar with this flower. she knows the name of this flower. she declines to believe, however, that these are also dandelions

she does not believe these are the same plant. I tried to explain, and she thought I was either misinformed or lying. so I asked her what exactly did she think the yellow ones were called?

because as much as i love them, they absolutely are not perfect and that is exactly WHY i love them. everything here is normal and okay and should be talked about and not hidden away, this isn't about making everyone 'ugly' its about making them more human

Remus drinks tea. A LOTTT of tea, so his teeth are often ever so slightly stained yellow because of it. He also has crooked teeth and canines that grew in extra sharp because of his furry little problem

We all know James is a Quidditch legend (or of any sport in muggle aus) and because of all his exercise he has stretch marks up his arms/biceps/thighs etc

Sirius' signature look is his eyeliner and quite vivid/bold eye makeup looks but it does mean it gets smudged/creased half way through the day and he never thinks to correct it

Peter sweats a LOOOOT

He is not really bothered by it, but Regulus is like DEATHLY pale, it just runs in the family. Sirius hates it on himself but Regulus doesn't really give a fuck

Lily burns so easily in the sun because she's a ginger and in the summer her nose is constantly peeling (also do not even MENTIONNN the chub rub)

Marlene wears a lot of rings, and the majority of them are costume jewellery so she is always walking around with green/purple rings around her fingers in odd places from them lol

Dorcas has a very large tooth gap (and she shoots water through it at Regulus randomly when she figures out he is scared of water)

Remus having a cane/being disabled is very realistic and is 100% the case! He very rarely can be out and about without his cane if its for more than a few hours, and he is often bed bound and/or suffers with chronic pain

Obviously we all love Sirius' hair (and so does he) so he is constantly running his hands through it and it even becomes a nervous tic, but this does mean it is more often than not greasy from the consistent touching.

Mary bites her nails consistently when she's anxious so they are very short and it is the one part of herself she dislikes because she is a massive perfectionist

As much as they do try, Evan and Barty both get veryyy mean when they argue and their relationship is one big on-and-off mess because they can never get it right

(NSFW) Sirius gets very nervous that he needs to put on a show for Remus in bed because of his own outgoing personality, but he is actually very shy and often feels like he is disappointing and/or boring remus (he isn't)

Marlene loves to dye her hair different colours, but over time it weakens her hair and it becomes very thin so she eventually sticks to highlights

James cries very easily and he finds it very embarrassing, he really struggles to get his thoughts and feelings out with words and people often get very irritated by him

Remus is jealous to the point its borderline toxic, he will actively ignore Sirius and refuse to explain why he's mad if Sirius speaks to someone they do not know and he sees

Anytime his friends or parents started arguing, Peter would flop to the floor dramatically. He learnt how to made the loudest thud without getting hurt and he USED it.

Eventually, as he grew up, he dropped the habit, until one day in the dorms the marauders had a fight. A big one. Sirius was screaming, Remus yelling, James was stressing. Not one of them was looking at Peter.
