fleeting words on a ship bound for the endless horizon. 

OKAY SO HEAR ME OUT. I feel like someone or some atiny have already thought of this~ but I mean just to put it out there. WHAT IF- In illusion, the concept is them on a pirate ship, flying to that island where they land… and the concept is obviously mirroring peter pan. BUT. THAT MEANS. ATEEZ ARE THE LOST BOYS. SO. Are they stuck in that reality of never growing up? If so, in the ending of the MV, it says to, “Open your eyes”. 

Basically…. A line says, do you want to follow me? SIGNIFYING THAT ATINY IS WENDY???? RIGHT? Are we the ones to save them? Because ultimately Wendy helps to save all of the lost boys lives in the story. (someone correct me if i’m wrong but im just typing what comes to mind)

Okay and this is a reach I know guys, but bear with me… so… with the lost boys, theres six of them. Including Peter, there’s 7. WITH WENDY. THERE’S 8. EIGHT MAKES ONE TEAM???? 

So, in the end of illusion now, before i got to wave… They say open your eyes, and the boys are running out of somewhere. I feel like this means that wave is basically the part of the story where Wendy tries to tell peter and the boys to go back with her, knowing that even though peter doesnt want to grow up, he needs to lead a normal life, although peter is afraid of growing up. I see this as a perfect representation to the fact that Ateez is still so young, but they are so vital to the kpop community already. In aspects of their career so far as a rookie group, they are so rooted with their concepts (AS WE CAN SEE WITH THIS ONE), and now they face reality in wave. When they say cheers, it’s almost like saying, YO WE MADE IT, LIKe. WE REALLY OUT HERE.

Now it also says, “time is mutable”, meaning that time is ‘liable to change’. So time is every changing, always fluctuating and such. (DEEP SHIZZLES)- which to me, this relates to the waves and to the ocean. The ocean is so vast, and it’s ever changing, never staying constant and always surprising those who frequent it. AND IF LION KING TAUGHT US ANYTHING BROS- Hakuna matata literally means no worries (for the rest of your dayyyyssssss). In life, we face hard ships; in the ocean, you face waves. And sometimes, we just have to go over it. I think this signifies the part in Ateez’s journey that although they have hardships, and what ever comes their way- they have us. They have atiny. They have their music. Which is all what they need!
