Now that I've stated working at Saks, I take the streetcar more often. This is a shot I captured this morning. The gentleman with killer dreads and blue suede shoes checks his phone while the couple next to him share a moment of rest. I love how they really love each other, anybody can tell. To the untrained/tourist eye, this is just any couple, but, they are local homeless. True love those two. Notice how the young lady has her guy'a red tennis shoes on. He is wearing her slippers, which, at a closer look are actually nice faux snakeskin slip-on sneakers that have been cut to be backless slip-ones. They rest, they love, they are a part of New Orleans that not many people know. But I love them.
