Question, would Mark be aware while he's possessed or is the void entity basically just piloting a corpse
Freak Show spoilers ahead!!
In my AU Mark accidentally stumbles upon the ritual Rev left behind and also accidentally frees the void entity, which manipulates him with the same 'i can grant your greatest wish' tactic it used on Bella and tried to use on Rev.
Once in Mark's body, it crashes the dance the same way it did in the finale, but instead of Wendy freeing it, it's possessed!Mark having a dramatic entrance with lights flickering and all heads turning and whatnot.
Since it's not Wendy we're talking about, Rev and Sera are hesitant to fight possessed!Mark, especially since a full power holy blast can probably kill a vampire on the spot.
Rev pulls the same 'i know you're still in there' card the same way he did with Wendy, but instead of being like "come and kill me yourself, coward" it's more like "you don't want to hurt your friend, do you?".
After that, Mark tries to fight back against the void entity, having a full on "DONT COME NEAR ME IM DANGEROUS" meltdown, and while trying to get Rev to stay as far as possible, he accidentally wrecks his shit the same way Wendy did in the canon.
After that, Rev takes the Necronomicon and excorsises the shit out of posessed!Mark, and eats shit the same way he did in the canon, except for the fact that Mark is now in absolute shambles because he just murdered his BFF.
And then Raven comes along, saves the day, and happy ever after. 👏👏👏
This AU is still sort of in the brainstorming phase, so stuff are subject to change. Also, im very open to ideas!! Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

I've had this idea for months and I finally wanted to pursue it !!
This fandom is one of my favorites in terms of the creative space; I am in love with how you can tell what particular aspects of the game each artist picked up on most from their artwork and character designs; as well as their own personal tastes and takes of the game!
So, here are all the Drivers I could pull up from tag searching!
I had almost no information about heights besides me and my buddy's Drivers, so I went off vibes - sorry if it's wildly inaccurate </3

Lithium - HOLY SHIT I THINK YOUR DESIGN IS MY FAVORITE I'VE EVER SEEN. THIS INCLUDES MINE. I love your Driver's little flower crown, and their hood, and omg the strands from their gloves to their jacket AUG. they are SUCH a critter i am in loveee with what you put into this
Glitch - I said this in my reblog of your art but O M G i looove your pixel artstyle. It reminds me of this very particular emotion I sometimes get from this game of my childhood. It was so fun translating your style to mine to draw Vix <3. I love how their hair matches with their Remnant, you said - that's so rad.
Astru - Your Driver very specifically brings back memories of playing post-apocalyptic games with my friends when wildfires out here got close - smoke so thick for days on end you could barely see 20 feet ahead of you and your eyes stung after a while. Their padding made them very angular to draw and their HAIR THEIR HAIR was sooo fun to mess with. Since the reference image didn't have anything below the middle, I made pants based off their shirt and vest.
Gruvu - I fuckin love your Driver and seeing more of this guy whenever I go into the tags, he seems like such a bundle of good vibes. He reminds me of the people I'd talk to at truck stops doing yearly cross-country roadtrips from 4-11 while my mom was in the restroom.
I actually had a different idea for this project I ended up scrapping [maybe ill pick it up again because GOD this was fun], BUT !! i made it far enough to draw a singular Driver - yours !! Maybe I'll finish just this frame someday >:]
Wasn't sure what color some of his later clothes were either - hope it's okay I took some creative liberties !
Olympic - I really hope I did Mars justice, I had more trouble translating design points than I usually do. I LOVED drawing them though, and I wouldn't be surprised if I draw them again in the future! I love their entire outfit and hair and VIBE. IT IS IMMACULATE. if i saw them on the street my jaw would drop, gosh.
I got about halfway through your section before I realized you made Mars a Driver ! [At least from what I read. If I interpreted wrong they're the honorary mostly-regular guy] Here's the scrapped wip of the Driver present in your tardigrade artwork. I may finish it by itself sometime.
Was going to do a whole new sketch, but I thought using the old one and having Mars hold a Bubblegum would be cute.
Creature - man what haven't I said about Tex? LMAOO sorry friend I think you're gonna end up with the shortest message </3. One thing I know for sure is I have been MISSING OUT on drawing them, their design is so fun. and another thing ill say is THEIR FEET ARE SO HARD TO DRAW IM SORRY IF I FUCKED IT UP </////333
