For all you tattoo bashers out there.
Tattoos donāt make the character. Learn people. Learn.
The previous generations really did a number on us when it comes to tattoos. They made us believe that tattoos are unprofessional and unsightly, when, really, tattoos and body art have existed through pretty much the entirety of human history. Tattoos, unless they are of an offensive nature, are not any more unprofessional than make-up, orĀ jewelry, etc. I remember one time I was asked by a friend who is a manager if she should hire a guy with tattoos. My first question to her was about how qualified the guy was for the position, and she explained he was very qualified.Ā Her: āIf you went to a store to buy something, would it bother you if the person helping you had tattoos?ā Me: āAs long as he does his job properly and helps me when I need it, he could be wearing a Halloween costume for all I care.āĀ
bless this post.
Donāt cheat on people, because the rest of their fucking life at 1am or when vodka fills their veins all theyāre going to wonder is why the hell they werenāt enough for you and it will slowly tear them apart, and just because you arenāt there anymore doesnāt mean it isnāt your fault because every āI love youā that you ever said will echo in their god dammed head and no one deserves that.
Iām going to reblog this again.

i wish men understood that when women are talking about feminism and rape culture and shit, itās not just a political conversation. itās not about being a āsocial justice warriorā or whatever. itās about our actual lives being shaped by misogyny since childhood, and the daily reality of living in fear of violence. this isnāt a fucking game orĀ philosophical debate. this is our fucking lives.Ā
this post is picking up like 100 notes per minute its outta controlĀ
On the morning of September 4, 1957, fifteen-year-old Dorothy Counts set out on a harrowing path toward Harding High, where-as the first African American to attend the all-white school ā she was greeted by a jeering swarm of boys who spat, threw trash, and yelled epithets at her as she entered the building.
Charlotte Observer photographer Don Sturkey captured the ugly incident on film, and in the days that followed, the searing image appeared not just in the local paper but in newspapers around the world.
People everywhere were transfixed by the girl in the photograph who stood tall, her five-foot-ten-inch frame towering nobly above the mob that trailed her. There, in black and white, was evidence of the brutality of racism, a sinister force that had led children to torment another child while adults stood by. While the images display a lot of evils: prejudice, ignorance, racism, sexism, inequality, it also captures true strength, determination, courage and inspiration.
Here she is, age 70, still absolutely elegant and poised.
she deserves to be re-blogged.Ā
sheās so goddamned inspirational
this makes me want to cry

Interviewer: Tell us about your relationship with Robert Downey Jr on set. Jude Law: Oh, I love him. I love him. Interviewer: Yeah? You had a bit of a bromance going on there. Jude Law: What is this new term everyone is using? Interviewer: Bromance? Jude Law: Oh, itās a horrible term. What about just a romance? Interviewer: No, itās not the same. Jude Law: Why not? Why? Interviewer: Cause then youād have to star in a romantic comedy together or something. Jude Law: We just have. Have you not seen it? [x]
Jude Law does not have time for any of that āNo Homoā bullshitā¦

2,000-year-old roman face cream with visible, ancient fingermarks
Preserved within a small tin canister, the cream was discovered during excavations by Pre-Construct Archaeology of a Roman temple precinct on Tabard Street, Southwark in 2003. The main constituent of the cream was animal fat mixed with starch and tin oxide.
imagine if they got a clear finger print from that
and then, just for shits and giggles, they put it into a police data base or whateverĀ
and, one day, thereās a murder. the only evidence anyone was there is a hand print. and one of the fingerprints matches the 2,000 year old one.
suddenly, they begin to find more and more unsolved murders that all have a similar trend: only one piece of evidence to tell who the murderer was, and itās a hand print or a finger print of some kind, and itās always the same person. its the same one thats been happening for decades⦠maybe even hundreds of yearsā¦
HOLY SHIT
write a book
I would read the shit out of that book.
