I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!

What to do?

To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!

This is an old ask so sorry if I'm too late to advise. I'd be happy to give some tips though-

I actually don't really write out a script. At least, I don't type/write everything out first. I take a more 'storyboard driven' approach, where I only have a general outline to start with, then jump straight into rough visuals. This outline should just be the major parts of your story: Setting, Characters and character motivations, Beginning, Big plot turns (inciting incident, anything cool you just want to see happen), ending.

For the sketch stage I keep it rough. I'm talking REAL rough. This stage is about figuring out your plot beats, paneling, composition, pacing, and starting to figure out your dialogue. its NOT about making a pretty drawing, its about very quick exploration and problem solving. I like to start with the part of the comic that I 'see' the clearest in my head. The part that feels most coherent, like a movie you can visualize if you close your eyes. From there I start to tackle the parts that I have a less clear idea of.

After this I start refining things. I try to do passes for each aspect one at a time (one pass for pacing, one for page layout, expressions, etc). Only after I have a solid idea of the whole comic do I really start to edit my dialogue. I think it helps to start with the rough idea of what a character could say to bring them closer to their goal/convey their emotion, and THEN consider how that character would actually speak.

For (an oversimplified) example, maybe Character A wants a slice of cake so your first dialogue pass is "Hey, can I have a slice of cake?" but this character is a real jerk, so upon revisiting this moment, you change it to "Gimme that slice of cake!!". Maybe they even startle or visibly piss off another character.
