Astral Potentials

I have worked with countless people in coaching, astrology, relationship etc. and I have learned many things. 

One salient observation I have gleaned is that everyone is profoundly sensitive.  We are all just honoring this sensitivity to varying degrees. 

Certainly some people are more sensitive in certain ways but all sensitivity must be honored.  Otherwise it gets suppressed, trapped, and turns into resentment. 

Oh, and here is a quick tip: 

Telling someone they are “over-sensitive” does not help honor someone’s precious and unique sensitivity!

The only time someone is “too sensitive” is when we have not accepted and honored our own sensitivity!  Then, when someone (often someone we love) shows their sensitivity, it triggers that in us.  

This is terribly uncomfortable and we want to push it away.  How do we do that most often?  By invalidating or pushing away the individual who is showing their sensitivity.

So here is my challenge to you.

HONOR YOUR SENSITIVITY.

Honor your need to feel and take time with whatever arises. 

And love whoever is scared of your sensitivity (don’t try to vilify them. You are stronger than that).  It is only because they have never learned to honor their own sensitivity, that they seek to avoid yours.  

Hold them there.  And hold yourself there as well.
