A Storm Called Grace

the fabric of space torn

in concrete glass and fire

an act so much less than love

where love is the only answer

comes the union of brighter souls

be it  9 /  11   or  the shifting of the tech tonic plates

love is what holds us together

Running quite blindly

Stumbling in the darkness.

The forest holds on tightly

Alone and afraid.

Deep within this forest

Are the calm and the mighty.

Thirsting for the light

That brings the path and the day.

All at once in the present

Is the person of becoming

And the child that finds love

So as not to fade away.

Opens now the forest to the meadow

The hillside and the wild flowers

See, you the child at play.

Running freely in joy and abandon

Having eternal, the truth

That is this day.

Dark and red

Clear and bright

A kiss of mystery

A touch of sun and night

Fruit, treasures

Taste, revelation

Old, new

Enriched memory

Touched by morning dew

Full of metaphor

And lessons found

In ripening, vine, and ground

Time found to taste

Power taken back from haste

Intimate moments

Savoured and shared

Delicate and balanced

Dangerously impaired

Fruit and vine
