Starting to get sick of the people acting like gw3 not having charr or sylvari is the same as anet getting rid of charr and sylvari. It's an entirely different game, they're not taking your toys away they're just giving different ones time in the spotlight

Everything From Gw1 to Janthir Wilds either Focused Exclusively on Human Culture or lore or Required the Humans as a Pivotal Role And " saviors of the day " Everything I'm 100% Understanding that people are Kinda Tired of Humans. Tired of everything Catering to 1 Playable Race out of 5 It's like Anet has this whole beautiful tapestry but Fixates exclusively on one colour
Every now and again I think on how Guild wars 2 is the single Highest-magic Setting I've ever Seen represented in Media The Developers themselves said everyone knows magic. Everyone. To be born without access to it or some spell passed down the family lines is equivalent to a once-in-a-lifetime occurence. And I love the setting for that. It means you can really play with the stakes, Invent new problems. If magic is that prevailant, you gotta get Really inventive to challenge players

We have books decorations, tho, but none of them are open, and there is no papers, pens, or anything like that. I want a messy table too!
You get me! Seeing an empty table in the study feels wrong. And putting there any food decor feels even worse
I think the wayfinder table you get with SOTO has a mode in which it looks as a messy working table, with maps and notes and all that, but it resets each time you log out so it is no use.
Personally, I'd love a REAL library where we could store all the lore books and notes we can gather in game (no way I'm destroying those lore books or even the notes I get from achievements, and my librarian alt is running out of space)
Same! I've started using vault's bag slots on my librarian just to have more space for books. I wish there was a bookcase for all readable content, just like there is a jukebox for music. And we know it's possible, as there is something like that for Snargle's books in Eye of the North
As a Habitual Collector We definitely need a library or some form of Archive where we can store all of the books we've unlocked through achievements ( Maybe even Letters and missives we find achievement hunting, too! ) I understand it's likely not going to be a Wildly monetizable endeavor for Anet but a spot to shove all the letters so I don't feel bad deleting the PILE of books and Lore snippets from achievement hunting would be pretty useful

I"m watching the NA Rp scene change and .. honestly, I have hope for it. Bad actors and their ilk have all cloistered themselves away into Hidden guilds , which Leaves the new Generation of Roleplayers ( Those new to Gw2 / Maybe even RP in general ) With a Mostly safe environment to explore the Setting and Places in And that's what I'm focused on. The Freedom newer players have, And the freedom now afforded to Older players to be more Out there with characters. There's so much that Tyria Allows you to do as a setting. So much community to be found if you can just get those Very few, very loud problems out of the way It's so cool seeing the way people are exploring the setting now , seeing the ideas people Drum up, from the Mundane to the fantastical, And watching all those ideas mesh well together.

There's No punishment for the Toxic, overtly hostile people that push players away from the game mode. The MMR is .. nonexistent. I mean WHOLLY nonexistent. I don't think there even is one. Every game is a sheer stomp one way or another. there's nothing close to an even match. Ever. It feels, and looks, Like there's Zero consideration for the player experience in this game, And I WANT to be proven wrong but. Maybe , Just maybe, if you're going to make a Rush event focused on a specific type of content, You can try to update the content Even a Tiny amount. Instead of just " Hey go play this so we can say it's Not abandoned "
