Fabu You
Gavinâs brows drew together and he frowned at the older man before turning his stare back to the mirror, âMocha skin or not this shirt is not lemon, Hardy. Itâs obviously butter. Lemon was the color next to it. Wouldnât dare to go that bright. Too drawing of attention.â He sighed though and worked to pull the suit jacket off, handing it to a woman who was standing a few feet off. She folded it over her arm as Gavin turned back to begin unbuttoning the shirt he wore, âBut youâre right. Not nearly close enough to what I want, but between the multiple shades of purple I need something new.â
âMight I suggest red?â
Gavin looked over at the girl next to the one holding his jacket and then back to Joel, finishing with the shirt, âIf Iâm doing red I need new suit. Preferably black.â He pulled the shirt off then ruffled his hair only to fix it again with a look in the mirror. âNo tie either for the moment.â He grabbed up the violet shirt heâd been wearing to at least have something on in some form then smiled at the girl nearest Joel, âCould you fetch me both, love?â
âOf course, Mr. Jones.â She glanced to Joel then, âAnything for you, Mr. Hardy?â
âAre you colorblind, Jones? Thereâs no way thatâs butter. Itâs definitely lemon.â He turned his gaze to the two ladies as finished taking off the tie and handing it to an outstretched hand. âItâs lemon, isnât it?â he asked pointedly, his question directed between the nearest of the pair. âItâs like a pale lemon. Butterâs far creamier.â
âItâs certainly a shade of yellow, Mr. Hardy.âÂ
A scoff at that reply. Hmph. Some people just didnât understand design like he did.
He readjusted his collar, his eyes returning to his reflection as he considered what else heâd like to try on. He wasnât exactly the most adventurous with his styles unless he was drunk, so he wasnât really going for anything out of the ordinary. Heâd always been a fan of his simple black suits and white button-downs, so there wasnât much point in trying anything from either of those departments. He was mainly just looking for---... Well, ties, really. Boring old lawyer.
âCould you get me another in gold? I saw one at the table when we came in, but didnât think to grab it. Could be good with this suit.â
