They didn't know at first but could feel in their bond that something had changed. When they visited the medbay, Knockout scanned Skyfire but didn't find anything out of the ordinary. Starscream screeched that the equipment had to be faulty cause he could FEEL IT DAMN IT!!!

Knockout was pissed and to prove it wasn't broken, he scanned TC. When it finished scanning, he shoved it in Starscream's face and was smug to have shut him up before also being stunned into silence when he looked at the results. At that point, Skywarp had to look at the scanner too to see what all the fuss was about. He was also stunned into silence. The way no one was speaking was starting to unnerve both TC and Skyfire. For a brief moment, Thundercracker thought he had spark cancer or something. It wasn't until Skyfire asked to see the scanner that they all learned why everyone was so quiet

Somehow, instead of the newspark descending into Skyfire, it went into Thundercracker instead! Cue confused and happy screaming :)
