Cemeteries are not wastes of space. Historical cemeteries ESPECIALLY are not wastes of space. The fact developers are continuously foaming at the mouth to destroy them and put a strip mall up in their place should make you even more determined to help maintain them. In urban areas, they are a haven for wildlife. They are a green space. If you are too afraid of death to utilize them for that purpose, that is on you.

"why are tech companies always changing the UI for no reason" you have no idea how much of tech is about looking busy to keep the higher ups happy

enshittification happens because an app will reach a state where it's just Good and changing it would only make it worse. but companies always want to see numbers go up, so they will keep demanding that the devs "improve" on it. if they say they can't improve on it, the company will decide their jobs are pointless, and then they get fired, so all the devs can do is try to change stuff around without messing with things too much. if this doesn't lead to an increase in profits (and why would it?) the company will keep demanding changes, until eventually the app enshittifies
