I maintain that the best summation of my feminist beliefs are that men and women are not fundamentally different. There are a few quantifiable differences if you average out every woman and every man, but they are not qualitative. And most of them are socially constructed, and would be fixed if we started treating men and women the same. Neither is inherently smarter, neither is inherently kinder, neither is inherently more stoic or stronger or angrier or softer. Everyone is obsessed with the differences between women and men, with finding them and creating them and distancing themselves from the "other half". It's fucked up

This was the mainstream feminist belief like. A decade ago. Thats how hard we’ve regressed within mainstream feminism and it’s mainly because of right wingers/radfems/TERFs deciding trans women need to die.

I actually do think it’s better for abusers and abusive characters to realize the harm their past actions caused and seek to do better than be literally or metaphorically executed for their crimes

Something about how society cares more about punishing the wicked than about making the world a better place, and how many people really struggle to shake that.

did more research and now I'm sort of leaning back to my original stance that green eyes don't actually exist? people say "green" but all i'm seeing is eyes that are blue-and-brown. can i get some example photos so i know what we're talking about???

these are just blue with brown/yellow mixed in? i have those type of eyes, i assume they're pretty common. definitely less rare than people with 100% blue eyes with no mix-ins

I mean you are correct, but now you're just getting pedantic. If you want to say green eyes don't exist because they are actually a distribution of yellow and blue filaments, then you might as well acknowledge that blue eyes also don't exist since there is no blue pigment in our eyes and that color only appears as a scattering light effect. I don't remember what the effect is called, it's the same reason the sky appears blue.
