I remember when I was a little kid and one time it reached a bit over 80° in the summer, which had me thinking it was so fucking hot I was dieing. Now everyday has been over 90° and with my wonderful new (okay it's been years) chronic health problems I actually am dieing. Isn't climate change great?

I've always disliked the idea of cosmic horror ending in "madness" because the mind can't conceve whatever being you're looking at. There's nothing wrong with it and people who like it, I just don't really think it's interesting.

Instead, give me a cosmic horror of beings so large and different from us that we barely understand they are even there. They're so big that time moves faster for us, one of their legs touching the ground so long it's become the center of a village, shifting little by little until the village is gone. We go about our lives, sometimes forgetting they are there, other times doing everything we can to keep them from noticing us. Sometimes, for seemingly no reason at all, they notice us anyway. Sometimes their attention is cruel and indifferent, sometimes it is cruel and gleeful or curious, sometimes it's simply curious, sometimes it's benign, and sometimes food is showered down to feed our families for generations.

Though really, it's best not to have their attention at all. Better to keep them uninterested, better to scurry in places where they can't see.

#This is why I sometimes play with bad grammar in my writing #I'll use too many commas to indicate someone trying to be overly careful #I love using run on sentences to protray the franticness of a moment #I'll make a whole paragraph one word #because the story needed to pause on that one word and how important it was in the moment #even if the word doesn't look important from the outside #and yes #people start their sentences with but #or and #and people are wonderfully imperfect #so I make sure that I do too

I wish people would stop calling it "ai art." It's not art, not in any way, not in any definition. Call it "ai generated image," or if you you want to simplify it, just call it "ai slop" or "ai trash" like it deserves. It doesn't get to have the label of art, not in any form.

Also will you people stop treating every single image/video like it's definitely AI? It takes seconds to confirm before you open your big fucking mouth and make the actual artist feel like shit and yourself look like a fucking idiot.
