I'm afraid Ao dai is no more but just a memory

I'm so sorry for the absent, I was so busy with moving and settling down in Canada's place so I couldn't take care of this blog.

I promise I will fix my mistake and do a better job from now on.

<< Promising to fix mistakes and improve the work is a common sentence in Vietnam whenever you made a fail in work or school. In school, they even made you write your apologize and promise down on a paper.

Hello Vietnam - Phạm Quỳnh Anh

Vietnamese music is strongly about emotions and sad melody, lyric is mostly about young love and heart breaking. Our music still needing a lot of improvement to compare to other country's music industry.

By this chance, I want to contribute a Vietnamese singer, who just passed away last 22 July. Wanbi Tuấn Anh ,he is a talented singer but unfortunately, because of the sickness. He is still too young and still have a long way to far he could go...Rest in peace. We all love and miss you.

(( I want to put more effort on this tribute also do it earlier but because of family's issues as my health is not really well so I was so late ;;A;; So this is all I could do, although I'm not his fan but I really love some of his songs. Vietnamese music lost a very young talent, it's really a big lost

Who would place food on the other's head?! That's an insult and I will be mad if he does that to me! 

Food is not for playing! You should treasure the food that you have! There was a time, people starved to dead!

Unles you want to know about my traditional fashion but we have like over 50 different cultures in Vietnam so it'll be many many types of clothes.

I will tell you some about our common fashion trend then.

The most common traditional clothes. I have talked about it here

Đồ bộ (Sleeping clothes) : Not really a fashion but it's common to see in Vietnam, often wore by female. They look like pijamas but the material is slimmer and fresher, suitable for the hot weather. The pattern is different than pijama's one as well.

They used to sleep and indoor but also can be wore to take a walk,go to the market or go to anywhere doesn't need much proper manner.

In fact, male often can be seen as topless and in boxers walking around. Of course, other male can consider this is impolite and never do it.

Teenager's fashion got influenced a lot from Korean dramas and K-pop. You can see the young girls wear shorts around even it's 1 pm and hot weather. Shorts and skinny pants are very common.

Otherwise, skirt and dress are not wore many for an usual hang out. They are used for a bit more manner events like a date,party,wedding,ect ect.

Male fashion is much more simpler. If a boy dressed too fancy as with tight jeans, fancy pattern shirt, 80% chance there is something with his sexuality, doesn't mean it's bad though. 

There is used to a Nobita glasses trend (The glasses are big and take half of your face). Girls believe they make their face cuter, naiver and innocence as make their eyes bigger. Usually, hair with bang will go well with Nobita glasses.

Glasses trend also apply on male, even the boy doesn't have any problem with his eyesight.

I think that is all I can say about our fashion right now.
