Advice blog.

I quit RPing awhile ago, but I always think about going back until I see how restricted it has become. You’re not allowed to have fun anymore. You get judged for liking to write ‘taboo’ things. It scares me to go back despite 5 years of experience.

“You just must find the right company! I promise you, as does my mun, that there are many people in this community who do not live by such restrictions -- and they shouldn’t. This is a creative outlet for people, and I can respect that.

I deleted my blog because I couldn’t break up with my shipping partner, but they found me again on a different blog in a different fandom and asked why I left. I’m scared to answer.

There’s something inside of me that really wants to tell off people who only play with their shipping partners. It was cute as first, but when your threads are only you and your partner, why do you follow anyone else?

“You must suppress that side of you, my friend, because it is unhealthy. Sometimes I tell my mun that I only have the inspiration to speak with one or two people, and while she wishes I would speak to more, that will not happen. It is not the fault of the mun -- and it is indeed,  most of the time, never a personal attack against you.

You must remember that we cannot know what is going on in a person’s life, and sometimes there is so much stress for said person that they must be selective in who they talk to! Perhaps they are going to school! Maybe their home life is abusive. Perhaps, they are working most of the day, and only have the energy to rp with one or two ship partners. That is alright. I am sure there are times when you have been selective too, or your muse has outright told you no.
