A crafty smile blooms on her face. âMaster, such a pleasure to make your re-acquaintance You donât seem to remember me. I do believe Iâm hurt. The Rani, at your service. Or you doom, depending upon how the day goes.â One can never really tell with the Masterâs regenerations, after all.
The Master raised an eyebrow. Â "The Rani?" he asked, then let out a crafty smile. Â "Well forgive me, I haven't seen this body before, and I haven't sene you in a long time." Â He let out a chuckled at her next sentence. Â "That's a bit of a bold statement, don't you think?"
Now, what's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?
Excuse me? Â Now who are you?

The Master shook his head, resolving to not let money be an issue. Â he tossed the core over his shoulder and stood up. Â âIâm sure weâll figure something out on the way,â he said. Â âIâm not going to let something stupid like money ruin our trip. Â Now, care to lead the way?â
Theta stood there and nodded his head. âAlright then.â The blonde said as he looked over his shoulder and turned around before a small smile played his lips. âSure!â The blonde said as he began walking in one direction.Â
The Master followed Theta, trying to figure out a way to buy food without Theta complaining. Â The Doctor always did have an annoying, ironclad sense of morality, even this young. Â Though they'd been prone to practical jokes, he'd always remembered the Doctor's hesitation at more daring pranks.

âDo you want to go?â the Master asked, looking down at the core of his fruit. Â He was most certainly hungry, but they had an issue. Â âWe donât have any money,â he replied, âand you donât seem to be very okay with just taking food. Â Do you know where we can get some?â
Theta pursed his lips as he looked at the Master for a long moment. âIâŚ.â He opened his mouth but then closed it the next moment. He did want to go there. It sounded like a nice place to eat but then there was that. âFood or money?â He probably meant money. Theta wasnât sure. He sighed, glancing down. âOh, no, I donât. But we could try to find a way? I donât know!âÂ

River pointed to the his laser screwdriver in his pocket. âUse your screwdriver thing. Doesnât that work with flames?â She moved over to him, reaching down his pocket and grabbing his screwdriver. River scanned over the device, trying to figure out how to work it. âH-How do you work this thing?â She said with a panic, as the footsteps of the animal got closer and closer to them.
"Give me that!" he said, grabbing the laser screwdriver out of River's hand, "and don't you ever go in my pockets again." Â He looked at the screwdriver, then back at the torch, and thrust the torch into River's hand. Â "Hold this out in front of you," he instructed. Â "This screwdriver is vastly complicated with many different settings. Â I doubt you'd be able to understand it, and besides, the controls are isomorphic, so you wouldn't be able to use it anyway." Â He rolled the screwdriver around in his palm, thinking. Â "Yes, I know I can use it to light a fire," he said, mostly to himself, "but I don't have anything to ignite."

âAny day, handsome.â She commented back at him, for the rude one about her opinion. She didnât looked beside her or behind, but she knew the Master was following her form the light of the torch. She ran faster as it got closer, when the light that was guiding her path faded.
River turned around, seeing the Master stopping and waiting for the creature. âWhat are you doing? You just a little man, that creature would eat you for a snack!â She started moving backwards, getting ready to run if whatever his plan was, didnât work. âI swear, I better not die.â
"Light sensitivity!" he said again.  "This creature lives in tunnels in the walls of a chasm miles underground.  It probably doesn't use its eyes to navigate, some other sense like smell or hearing, and bright light would probably stun him."  The Master looked around, seeing his torch run low.  He needed something else to burn, and while River's bouncy hair looked very useful, she'd hardly stay in one place long enough for her to be an adequate torch.  "Look for something, if you're so scared about dying," the Master told her.  "The longer and brighter the light burns, the better chance of success we have.  In any case, I want to get a good look at what's chasing us."

River turned back to the Master, cursing him inside. He was being so ridiclous, using the archaeologist thing on her. She couldnât see the the wild animal anymore, but she could feel the ground shake every time it took a step towards them.
âW-Wha- Did you really just ask me what that..that thing is? I donât know, I didnât have time to stop and checked what it looked like through the explosion and the screaming, and you shouting ârun! God, you can be so such an idiot sometimes.â River squeezed her shoulder, rolling her eyes in pain.
âUgh, fine! You want an archaeologist research on this thing, alright. I say, its a wild carnivore, that doesnât show mercy. It lives in dark holes in the ground andâŚ.Oh, and this âthingâ is also very dangerous. If you see itâŚRUN!â She shouted, mumbled under her breath at him, as she turned back around and ran more down the tunnel.
"Thank you for that expert opinion!" the Master shouted back, obviously sarcastic. Â He sighed and pumped his legs faster, finding himself running towards the increasingly thickening dark down what looked like a never-ending hallway. Â He turned her words over in his head, his mind racing.
"Wild carnivore... dark holes in the ground... dangerous..." he mused.  Suddenly, he stopped.  "Dark holes in the ground!" he exclaimed.  "Light sensitivity!"  The Master turned to face the monster barreling towards them and held the flaming torch out in front of him.  If he could keep the monster at arms length he could observe it further.  Hopefully, this just had to work.

River flew back as the explosion came out of the wall. She covered her face, landing, stomach first, on the ground. She stayed there for a few seconds, covering her face, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. When the monster like animal crawled through the hole in the world, letting out a loud, hurtful scream. River jumped to her feet, grabbing onto her shoulder that was screaming with pain. âWhat in hells name just happened!! What the heck did you do?â She yelled, looking through the dust and dirt that was flying around, trying to see where the Master had left.
River heard his voice and ran after him to other side of the room. She pushed past him, down the dark, cold tunnel. She didnât care where it led she just wanted to get away from the animal.
"I didn't do anything!" the Master shouting, keeping up his pace down the hallway. Â He didn't look back to see if she was following, but coud only hear the animal chasing them. Â "I don't even know what that thing is!"
Honestly, River could die for all he cared. Â If the monster attacked her that'd buy him more time for an escape. Â There was absolutely no way he could go up the way he came, especially because he was running opposite the chasm's entrance, but he had to think of something. Â He sighed, knowing he was probably going to get hell for this, and shouted.
"What about you, miss Archeologist?" he mocked, but there was a hint of panic in his voice from their encounter with this thing in the walls, "have any idea what it could be?"

I'm Back!
((Hello everyone! Â I've decided to jump back into the world of RPing on this blog now that my muse is coming back. Â The major reason that I went on hiatus was because this blog was just becoming too big, so here's what I'm doing. Â I'm going to have to be more selective about my following, sorry, but I can't make an intro for every follow, that was one of the things that drove me away. Â If I like you and think we'll mesh, I'll send you an ask, follow back, or make an intro thread.
I'm revamping my entire blog (give me a few days to sort that out) and unfollowing people I don't have big plots with. Â I really just need to clean up my dash. Â If you want to continue a thread with me, just pop in my ask box. Â I'll be sending messages to people who I had plots with I'd like to continue. Â Thank you for listening.
