Hey guys! Long story short, Tails and Rouge kinda ganged up on us and now we have a tumblr.

Hmm. I suppose it was when I realised my pride wasn’t just hurting me.

Your birthday party, when the Time Eater attacked… I had every intention of skipping that party, even had I not been otherwise occupied. I assumed Rouge was dragging me along to an event I wasn’t welcome at, or perhaps you had invited me out of a sense of obligation. But when you saw me in the end, you looked… genuinely relieved to see me. Happy, even. I’m sure much of that was due to the Time Eater ordeal, and not knowing what was going on for me in White Space, but I realised that distancing myself from you for the sake of my pride had the potential to hurt you, not just myself.

I don’t really know when it was for me. I guess ‘cause I didn’t really realise my pride was getting in the way of anything? Sure was when I was a teenager.

Realistically, I don’t believe we would come together in every universe. We’ve encountered universes where we’re not. But I don’t really believe in the concept of a soulmate.

Shads fell first, and harder.

I caught up eventually, just took me a little while. Ironic, huh?

I mean, yeah! It’s always been faster for me to spin dash than run. But it’s harder to control where I’m going since I can’t really see, and it’s hard to stop or change directions. That’s why I mostly run, even if it is a little slower. And hey, I am slowing down a li’l, but I’m in my thirties now and I’m not running for my life all the time.

As for letting myself go, I’d say it’s more like letting myself be.

I let myself be fat. I let myself be fed. I let myself be happy. I let myself be me.

No. I love and respect my husband, and he was good enough to wear glitter at our wedding despite hating the stuff. I will not torture him needlessly. It’s just not fun when it’s something that actually upsets him.

Imo Shadow subconsciously hating the Sonic that stayed behind in Camelot makes so much sense because it proves to him that if there's at least one version of Sonic that abandoned his world/friends/him there's nothing stopping his Sonic from leaving him.

Well, alright, I don't think THIS Shadow would think to this extent (at least not at this point in time) because I'm pretty sure he's over thinking Sonic would leave him but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. There's... potential for some yummy angst and it tickles my brain just right 👀👀👀 (I go rabid for some well-written heartbreak🤌🤌)

I don't want to be told that "oh you're so much hotter now that you're fat" or "you're not fat enough" or "you were better before" it feels fetishizing and a little dehumanizing. I know they probably had good intentions but maybe watch what you say because then those words could get twisted and do real damage to real people.

I'm not trying to be harsh to anon, but to me, telling someone how they should wear their weight tells them that their worth is equal to their weight and ugh. No.

Don't ever tell someone how to live their life. I don't care if you're fat, skinny or whatever, you are loved. You are worthy.

I'm sorry, that tangent got a bit out of hand I'm sorry for getting so heated...I want to reiterate that this isn't an attack. I just feel very personal about these kinds of subjects. You can choose to ignore this if you want, just know I mean no ill-will.

That said, I’m actually cool with it. So y’all have my permission.

I have kind of a complicated relationship to fame, my body, and bodily autonomy… but for me, hearing somebody say that I should get fatter, feels more like encouragement and acceptance. Even if it’s from some rando on the internet. It feels like permission for me to be who I wanna be, y’know?

But everybody’s different. Take Shadow; sometimes he likes a little encouragement, sometimes it puts him off. So, as a general rule, I’d say avoid telling him point-blank to get fatter, but compliments and reassurance are A-Okay.

…… I think I gain weight when we gain weight.
