Hi! This is an ask/art blog for married Sonadow. Asks will be answered with doodles, comics, and sometimes even animations. So have fun and send some asks!
Their personalities are gonna be based loosely on Adventure Era, in the sense that Iāve taken SA2 Sonic and Shadow and jumped forward a few years to when theyāre married. This is to say, theyāre mean but deeply in love. They're following mostly game canon but I'll borrow bits from other media too.
They are both fat and don't want kids, let them live their life smh
They also have two cats now! Their names are Darkness and Chilli
Sonic will answer in blue, Shadow will answer black and bold.

gifts from anon were nice and I do not think they had any bad intentions but I think it was already mentioned on this blog (and I could be misremembering) how many fat people are told "you're so huggable!" all the time. it's like the #1 compliment that every fat person has heard at least once in their life and is just. Yeahhhh. Iām not a hugger, so thatās an extra big no-no for me, but also, fat people are tired of the whole ācuddly/huggable/friend-shapedā schtick. Itās not the compliment people think it is.

Wasn't going to post this here because i don't wanna deal with possible fatphobic comments but... fuck it.
I want ALL bodies to feel safe and excepted here, the Sonic fandom (and fandoms in general) have a SERIOUS fatphobia problem, and if noone else is going to speak up about it, then i will.
I get alot of comments on how i draw sonic (mostly positive, im glad so many fat/chubby people feel excited seeing how i depict him, yall are the sweetest frš) but ive gotten some rude ones too.
So i wanna make it crystal clear right now.
Fatphobes arnt welcome here, body shamers arnt welcome here.
The world is burning, we are all screwed anyway, but even if it wasnt, live how you wanna live and look how you wanna look. If anyone has an issue with it? Thats a them problem and they can go get bent.

Hmm. I suppose it was when I realised my pride wasnāt just hurting me.
Your birthday party, when the Time Eater attackedā¦ I had every intention of skipping that party, even had I not been otherwise occupied. I assumed Rouge was dragging me along to an event I wasnāt welcome at, or perhaps you had invited me out of a sense of obligation. But when you saw me in the end, you lookedā¦ genuinely relieved to see me. Happy, even. Iām sure much of that was due to the Time Eater ordeal, and not knowing what was going on for me in White Space, but I realised that distancing myself from you for the sake of my pride had the potential to hurt you, not just myself.
I donāt really know when it was for me. I guess ācause I didnāt really realise my pride was getting in the way of anything? Sure was when I was a teenager.
Realistically, I donāt believe we would come together in every universe. Weāve encountered universes where weāre not. But I donāt really believe in the concept of a soulmate.
Doesnāt really matter to me, so long as we found each other in this one!

I mean, yeah! Itās always been faster for me to spin dash than run. But itās harder to control where Iām going since I canāt really see, and itās hard to stop or change directions. Thatās why I mostly run, even if it is a little slower. And hey, I am slowing down a liāl, but Iām in my thirties now and Iām not running for my life all the time.
As for letting myself go, Iād say itās more like letting myself be.
