Happy Bi Visibility Day!
We're here. And we have a fabulously fashionable flag. *flag waving manically* With love, Bi-Positive.
So for about two years I've thought I was bisexual because I'm attracted to at least two genders. I'm attracted to a lot of genders, but not all, so I don't think I'm pansexual or onnisexual. I was looking into what polysexuality was because my friend came out to me, and now I'm wondering if I'm polysexual or Bisexual. Is there like a max amount of genders for a bisexual to be attracted to or something? I'm hella confused rn. And I know that only I can figure out my sexuality and all that, but I don't know all the information and differences to figure it out, which is why I'm coming here and asking? Every time I use google it tells me that bisexuals can be attracted to two (or more) genders, and polysexuals are attracted to multiple genders, but not all. So it's not very helpful and I'm still confused af.
Polysexual is an umbrella term for those attracted to more than a singular gender. Bisexual is a more specific identification. Bisexuals and pansexuals are both polysexuals.
just find which label(s) feel right for you
If sexuality is a spectrum someone must be the gayest gay in history
Thatâs not how that works at all you dumb bitch
This is the funniest misuse/miscommunication of âspectrumâ Iâve ever seen
someone out there is the fruitiest little boy in the world â¤ď¸ because of spectrums
itâs entirely possible for a bisexual woman to consistently date men for unhealthy reasons, but the suggestion that anyone other than the individual herself has a right to be âcriticalâ of that choice makes me break out in hives. she might date men over women bc sheâs struggling w internalized homophobia/misogyny (in which case the last thing you want to do is push her to be in a relationship w another woman before sheâs processed that enough to be ready), but she might also do so bc she just prefers men. itâs not for anyone else to pick apart & analyze & it certainly isnât for anyone else to pass judgment. leave bi women alone.

i feel like cis people assume if youâre trans youâre either gay or straight and thatâs why you barely ever see positivity posts for trans bi people so hereâs your daily reminder that weâre here and weâre great! bi trans women? amazing. bi trans men? amazing. nonbinary bi people? you guessed it, amazing!
the amount of thanks iâve gotten in the tags for this simple post just further proves my point⌠support bi trans people!!!
âbut thereâs no reason for this character to be gayâ do u think irl gay people are gay to advance a plot dude
I made these in response to hate crimes in my community. They are full size and free to download and print if youâd like to use them, too.
Since these are going around, I wanted to fill in some of the gaps! Here are seven more posters for communities under threat. As with the first set, these are completely free to download, print, share, repost, etc with no credit needed. This is open source activism.
Hi! Me again lol. Follow up question, what if sometimes, it doesnât feel right because Iâm afraid of coming out and Im afraid that Iâll be called pretentious for having preferences and lack of experience with girls like dating. Do you think Iâm just confused with my sexuality? Iâm so sorry for asking a lot. I just have no one to talk to about this. -A Putting my initials from now on so you know itâs me asking lol.
Hey! Not a problem! Know going into this that you never have to come out if you don't feel comfortable and you are never obliged to do so. Bisexuals with preferences exist and you should NEVER have to prove your sexuality to anyone. You can vibe with any label that feels comfortable to YOU and no one else gets to say what's right or wrong. (Also you're more than welcome to drop into PMs if that's more comfortable)
Hi! I always knew I had a thing for girls, also kissed girls before but I never had a full on crush on any girls around me. Am I considered bi? Iâve been wracking my brain for weeks. Like last week I was sure I am Bi but now Iâm not again. And if I am Bi, Iâm a bit afraid to come out. Is that wrong? But really the important question is if Iâm considered Bi. Lol.
I get this question a lot. The "am I bisexual "? my answer is if it feels right then YES. if it feels wrong then you can try out many labels until you find the right fit. I cant choose your label for you but I can support you

Hii, I identify as bisexual since I was 15 but I prefer women. I really can't see myself dating or marrying a guy. I'm okay with kissing but that's it, nothing more, not even cuddles or holding hands. And I also get super awkward around then, even my men friends. I feel I can't really be myself when I'm around them. Am I still bisexual or I'm just a lesbian? ~ đł
Remember that bisexuality has preferences but only you can know which identity you associate with more
hello, i hope this is the right place to ask this. i've recently come out as trans and that has radically impacted the way i view myself. i'm asexual, but i always called myself a wlw or lesbian, because i thought it was my identity. but i'm not a woman, so i can't be either of those, and lots of questioning has made me realize i can fall in love with, at present count, men, women, and non-binary people (all including trans people of course). i'm so confused. can i call myself bisexual? thanks!
Absolutely! Bisexual means same and other genders so if that sounds like you and you feel.comfortable with that, then you are bisexual. Welcome to the squad.
Every time i go to pride, i suffer from imposter syndrome since I'm mostly attracted to men, but I also sometimes go for women. I still feel so out of place and like I'm lying whenever I say "I'm bisexual, not straight" even though I almost always date men. Before this gets too rambly, am I bisexual "enough"? Is that even a thing or am I overreacting? I just feel so unsure of myself and if I even belong/deserve to be in lgbt+ spaces.
You are bisexual enough!!!! The hard part about being polysexual is that we're a silent majority so there's not as much representation at pride but know you aren't alone. I feel like this sometimes and honestly a lot of my other polysexual peers do too. But remember the B in LGBTQA+ IS FOR YOU. THAT'S YOU. You are valid and queer spaces are meant for YOU. I got your back on this, fam.
I'm not sure who else needs to hear this but if this is something you need to hear right now lemme do a blanket statement:
If you're asking yourself if you're "bisexual" or "queer" enough. You are. I'm saying in here and if ANYONE says otherwise they can take it up with me. You may not need my validation but I give it freely if you need it.
No matter what a post on tumblr tries to tell you, your moral and ethical stances will never be determined by what you reblog and what you scroll past. Donât let manipulation tactics force you into doing anything you donât want to do.
I find it very interesting to note the times in which this post has a sudden resurgence. It often follows very stressful, upsetting events, where a lot of âREBLOG THIS OR YOU SUCKâ posts start appearing on this site.Â
So Iâll say it again: it is okay if you come to tumblr to escape upsetting news. It is okay if youâre just here for fun and fandom. It is okay if you do not want to use your tumblr as a place to read about or spread the current events that are circulating. It is okay if you need a place to decompress and just relax. There are other ways to be involved in/support causes and you are allowed to set boundaries on social media platforms without it being indicative of your belief systems.Â
Your beliefs, values, ethics, and moral stances are not determined by whether or not you reblog something.Â
With the start of pride month during whatâs happening, letâs not let it cover up what is really important. We have pride because of black trans women and their riots. I canât put into words how much what is happening right now joys me but scares me at the same time. We need change and we need it now but itâs terrifying knowing our awful president could start a civil war. But we need justice for George Floyd and those who have been murdered like him. I canât do much but I wanted to speak my mind the best I could right now.
Happy pride month.

to all my black friends, mutuals and followers on here:
The first pride was a riot, more specifically a riot against police violence. Trans women of colour like Marsha P. Johnson paved the way for the celebration of pride today. You cannot celebrate your pride this month, or any month if you arenât also supporting Black Lives Matter and the riots going on against police violence right now. Us white LGBTQ+ need to stand up for our black siblings and their rights, their struggles. We need to amplify their voices and show any support we can.Hey! Better yet, reblog this version:
