Her smile disappears as her eyes flick up to meet  his, but for only a moment. She looks utterly crestfallen. Her voice is barely audible. “So… This is a no?”

"I just... I'm not sure, is all....." He says, confused.

asksainttraft said: “Oh, you know, about as well as one can do being dead. The never ending fight against the blights of the land wages on. I try to take a week in Thraben for every two months ‘in the field’, it’s good for the psyche.”

“I see…” The angel breathes. There is a moment of silence, the woman clutching her staff close to her, and then, “I think of you often, Traft. I still search for a way to bring you peace.”

"And you are never far from my thoughts either, Lady Bruna. I would be eternally grateful if such a way was found, but I have come to peace with my eternal existence. Do not worry yourself..." He says in a comforting, yet sad, tone.

“I’ve known you since you were young, lying isn’t your forte.” Avacyn smirks and places her hands on her hips.

“I… I give up,” the spirit sighs.

“Good, I’m proud.” She lets out a small giggle, “It also looks like you’re blushing. You’re more opaque than usual.” Avacyn holds back another laugh.

“but… I…” Traft attempts to form a sentence to back himself up, while his angelic companion laughs to herself behind him.

“I’ve known you since you were young, lying isn’t your forte.” Avacyn smirks and places her hands on her hips.

"I... I give up," the spirit sighs.

"but... I..." Traft attempts to form a sentence to back himself up, while his angelic companion laughs to herself behind him.

“Perhaps we could go check it out ourselves? You haven’t been out ‘in the field’ in some time, if memory serves….” The ghostly saint suggests.

“Ha… I’ve been in Gavony and Nephalia for a while… you know how going into Stensia affects me… But I’ll go anyway.” She says with a smile.

Traft sarcastically adds, "what's wrong with Stensia? It's not like you died there....," before grinning at Avacyn. "After you, M'Lady...."

Traft gives a small chuckle, “Well, that was part of it yes. We came upon some devils harassing a town, pretending to be Griselbrand. While dealing with them, we discovered a few wolfir who were hunting a local farmers herd… And then the farmer. Sad, messy business, really. I thought these times were behind us,” he finishes with a sigh.

“It’ll take us a while to get back to a perfectly stable point again. Ashmouth has been violent lately, spewing out hordes and hordes of devils and demons daily. I wish we could keep track of it’s pattern.”

The Spirit laughs, and agrees, “Yes, yes I say we do. We’re about due for a vacation, I’d say.”

“We get caught up in our work too much, don’t we?” Avacyn laughs lightly.
