TRICK OR TUMBLRPON TREAT.
OK so here’s a silly template. You can make your own of course.
——————————
Basic information required
Gender: sometimes it’s not apparent, even in costume
Type: (pick from the Tricker/Tricker/Scarer/Giver. (see below)
Effects/Props: what are they carrying?
Goals: what are they out for? Socializing? Getting the most candy ever?
Scare Level: 5 skulls means hard to scare, 1 means easy scare. (i have six there. Should be five max)
How to: Reblog with your character sheet attached. I’ll work up a master post later of character sheets for easy ref and links to blogs as well as their types.
Players will utilize http://www.random.org/dice/?num=1
Scarers: Find other ponies that are out trick or treating or possibly scaring themselves! If you are going to scare a pony and they are up for the interaction, the roll of one dice must be higher than their scare level to be successful. (This also counts for successful tricks if you don’t want to be god-moded or don’t otherwise agree to being scared/tricked.)
Treaters: Go about to giver’s blogs and trick or treat with them. You can also meet up with other ponies participating for encounters or trading candy, etc.Â
Givers:Â Givers give out treats, of course. Be sure to state what is given or, better yet, a drawn image of the treat!
Trickers: Trickers are like Givers, just more likely to trick a pony instead of giving them a treat. If you are going to trick a pony and they are up for the interaction, the roll of one dice must be higher than their scare level to be successful. If it is an action, try to keep it in line with the rating with the blog and the consent of the mod (such as pelting with color, glitter, poison joke, etc) or it is possible the trick could be an item like a rubber snake or fake spiders, which is added to the other ponies’ Treat bag.
The Treat Bag:  Ponies participating should keep a list of their treats (and tricks) running on their page, numbered to keep track. If some pony should trade with you, you’d switch the items with them on the list. If you were to lose an item by being scared or tricked, you can roll to decide what item is lost. If you are trading you could roll as well, which means the other person might earn one of your tricks, or maybe even roll the dice against their scare level to trick them into taking something you don’t want :>
It is good to put forth effort towards who you are interacting with. If you don’t want to ‘waste’ the effort, ask first if they are up to replying to you before you go and draw it out.Â
Do not expect everyone to interact with you. They may have many requests already or not be able to participate as much and be choosy.
Don’t expect everyone to draw your character either. Their reply (while I ask they aren’t silly one line posts and are actually drawn or have some effort behind them like long rp posts) they may just draw their character’s reaction to you!
At the same time, be kind to new artists or artists that aren’t as popular! It’s unfair just to interact with big names. If you need help deciding who to add in, why not roll a dice??
MOST IMPORTANT: Have fun!
Time Running: The month of October.
