No but it would be so cool to go! I want to ride all the rides so many times that I puke.

I have a jar full of cool rocks that I find! I have really shiny ones and some that are pokey.

I like them at the zoo.

I wish I could get you a dinosaur.

Roland was sort of a look into the Nolans’ future, in Mary’s opinion. He was happy, so smart, and an absolute little ball of sunshine. If Neal grew up to be anything like him, then her and David would be very lucky.

“Definitely the cheese,” Mary grinned, sitting opposite Roland in front of her own sandwich. “It’s the best part!” she glanced over at Neal playing on his mat a few feet away, making sure he was okay before tucking in to her dinner. “Does your mom make grilled cheese a lot?”

Thankfully Mary understood what he was asking. She was a bit of a saint like that. “The cheese is the best part! My favorite is when you pull it apart and it stretches.” Roland’s eyes lit up as he picked up his sandwich and did just that. Cheese was truly one of the best things out there! “Do you mean Aunt Gina? Not a lot, but she makes them! I like cooking with her. It is sometimes messy but fun.” Thankfully, he skipped over the whole mom notion, or his aunt would be in for a slew of questioning she wasn’t prepared for.

I wish we had a pet. It would be so cool to be able to take a dog on a walk and play fetch! I think the dinosaur Bella said would be the best pet out there, if dinosaurs still existed. 

That’s mine and Grace’s jam too! She says you have great taste!

Chillin’ Like a Villain from The Descendants

It was always a welcome surprise when Robin and Regina wanted a night to themselves. Mary understood the stresses that parenting could put on a relationship, and she knew that the couple would always return the favor. Plus, Roland was family. There definitely wasn’t any issue with him staying at the Nolan’s, and Mary was quite partial to the little boy herself.

“Hey buddy,” Mary placed the grilled cheese she’d just made on the table and called out to Roland, who had planted his butt in front of the TV. “Dinner’s ready!”

Excitement had always taken over Roland when he was able to have a sleepover at one of his friend’s or family’s house. And the Nolan’s took the cake! Not only was Aunt Mary one of the sweetest women to ever exist, but she made sure they had the best snacks whenever he was there! Much like most kids, he sometimes missed being home when he was staying out, but she just sort of made everything easier. Better even! 

I want to go to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan! There is five floors of fun!

I like a bunch of food. Pretzels for breakfast! I am hungry and there is a bunch of food in the kitchen. Let’s make something to eat!

Robin Hood is my favorite! I think it is pretty cool that he has a bunch of friends in the Merry Men and helps out people in need. Plus, he’s a fox! They are super sly.
