hearing rumors of a Soul Reaver reboot has me excited and hoping that maybe some of Raziel’s old concepts may be integrated into a new game if the rumors are indeed true

Legacy of Kain - Soul Reaver
Raziel The classic case of an unwilling anti-hero. Always meaning well, his actions bring down Hell in his world, but the storyline flows so evenly between games, his pursuit of revenge upon Kain and his goal to rectify Kain’s selfish defacing of Nosgoth are pure enough intentions, but he always seems to be two steps behind. Even in the sense of Soul Reaver 2’s “History Hates a Paradox" theme, he is stepped on by his own actions in the end. He’s the anti-hero that you can’t help but feel sorry for and root for.
