Ask Olathe!

The short answer is I’ve lost motivation.

The long answer is I’ve lost motivation because I’m dealing with some IRL issues at the moment as well as looking for a job.

I also don’t believe Mournful is up to the standard of quality I’d like it to be.  I’ve always said I don’t want to put out content I am not proud of.  With how I’ve evolved as an artist, both in my quality of art, and in my mindset, I cannot be proud enough of Mournful to release anything right now.

I’m gonna do something fun to celebrate 200 FOLLOWERS!!!  Reply to (or reblog) this post with any three digit number.  I’ll draw a random number and pick the submission closest to it.  The winner will get to write their own (up to ten panel) strip to appear on AskOlathe, credited and all!

-You need to be following one blog or the other.  If you are not following either then the winner will be redrawn. -You need to be willing to chat with me over Tumblr IM. -Nothing sexually graphic in any panel of your strip.  If you wouldn’t see it in an official AskOlathe or Mournful strip, I will not make it. -Both reblogging AND replying WILL NOT give you two entries, neither will liking. -If I can’t get ahold of you in three days, the winner will be redrawn.

After winning, I will contact you through Tumblr IM.  From there, we’ll discuss the panels of your comic, what they’ll entail, and the dialogue they’ll have.  You can have a limit of ten panels.  It can take place in any AU of your choosing.  Painful, Joyful, Rueful, Wholesome, Pointless, Mournful, you name it.  Just know that I must know of the AU prior before making something for it.
