Who in the world cares about blogs anyways? Why would anyone care about what I had to say?

Maybe it was because I was too young and didn’t understand that blogging is about your own thoughts, not about other’s opinions. I didn’t post anything because I didn’t have my own opinions and value’d others’ thoughts over my own. Very bad way to live, by the way. I was scared that others would judge me for putting my vulnerable self out there. But now, at 24. Who really gives a shit.

Not me.

Now I think that it takes more courage to be vulnerable than to be protected. Because at the end of the day, I know that everyone is vulnerable in one way or the other. We are humans. We feel things. At night, when all your friends leave. It’s just you and your demons. Putting your thought out there in the universe, there will always be that one person who can relate to your message. And it’s going to impact that person in a way you couldn’t have imagined. 

I’m not blogging for the approval and acceptance of others’. It’s just my thoughts but I know on the way, it can reach someone who’s been waiting to read it.

People are hungry for vulnerability. They want to read about real problems that people are going through everyday.

Habits are things that we all have. Good or bad. Over the years, as I grew older, I noticed I had a lot of bad habits I wasn’t proud of and naturally, I try to change. From bad sleep schedule to unhealthy diet, you name it. But one habit that no matter how hard I try. It sticks. And that’s overthinking.

I tend to overthink a lot. Usually browsing and exploring new ideas. I guess it’s good to let your mind wander once in a while. It allows your mind to grow but on the other side of the same spectrum, my mind wanders to a really dark place. I tend to stress over things I can’t control. Matters beyond my reach and it sucks because I can’t do anything about it. 

The problem is identified but the solution is somewhere in the universe, not within my reach. 

I’m the type of person who likes to be in control. Especially decisions revolving my life.

I’m sure everyone overthinks and everyone has their own problems. Even though I’m not sure how to deal with it myself, I would suggest to whoever is reading this, if you stress about matters out of your control, you’re just torturing yourself.

Sometimes I just want to pack all my stuff and fly to a new place where no one knows who I am.
