Hey, everyone! Been a long time!

I just hopped in to fix something-- to give proper credit!

I had no idea that I might've offended some people by using a gijinka design for Neko Zombie here that I didn't make myself! So, although this is A COUPLE YEARS OLD It was finally brought to my attention!

I'd like to clarify that my NZ design I use is completely based off of my fiance's artwork right here!

Please check out the rest of their GHS tag on their artblog, it's pretty sweet!

SO yeah, I didn't realize it might've offended some users that I didn't give proper credit as to where the design came from that I use for my NZ. I'm here to rectify that!

Thank you for sticking with me all these years, and I formally apologize to anyone I might've upset along the way! It wasn't my, or NZ's intention at all!! (He's a good kitty, I swear!)

Gregory decided, against the best judgment he had to open the cell, looming in the doorway he looks down his nose at the growling feline. True it was strange to have had so many leave without a trace.

"Smart choice cat.” he spat

Placing his arms behind him, he rested them against the small of his back. He too kept his eyes fixed on the feline, shackle still seemed intact, which was good because there was no way he wanted to deal with a raging cat.

"Many left, some returned in various ways, however," he sighed dramatically, "So hard to run a hotel that way, not that that matters to a useless beast like you"

Neko Zed was far from being calm, but the clink-clink of chains and shackle around his ankle reminded him there was very little he could do. The shackle itself, with a little tinkering and a lot of determination, could be slipped out of, but NZ didn't have the energy to be bothered by it. Not right now at least. No reason. So instead, the feline boy turned his back to the door, not wanting to have anything further to do with the rat.

The words that came to his ears made his stomach twist. He wondered if the few he'd actually managed to make friends with were gone. He wondered if they were able to leave-- and if so, why hadn't they said something to him? ... He decided it was best not to think about it right now. Or ever.

"You can leave now, rat. I'm not gonna set fire to this place anytime soon, don't worry your ugly head over it."

NZ didn't want to do anything right now except sleep. Sleep for a very, very long time.

He knew that was asking for too much, however.

Gregory grips the bars, satisfied at the rise he began getting from the feline, it made his day.

"And what, my wretched beast, is wrong with the owner of this fine establishment being left behind is the issue hmm?”

Gregory sneered at Neko Zombie, words sickeningly sweet and laced with contempt, he wholly knew why Neko Zombie would want to see him least out of everyone and yet there he was, basking in a twisted pleasure at the cat’s pain.

The feline felt the cool stone wall behind him, having backed up to the other side of the cold cell, scarlet eyes never leaving the other. A low growl stayed constant around him, rumbling out of the back of his throat.

"You're just the last person I wanted to see. That's all."

His gaze shifted only slightly during the small pause, and even though it was Gregory he was talking to, his curiosity always, always won out over any other feelings he had.

"...Where... where are the others?" He felt uneasy. He knew it was impossible that it was only him and this rat left in this large hotel but... it seemed like every time he awoke from a deep slumber... more and more people were gone.

He wasn't sure what he would do if he were left alone. Again.

The cat immediately backed up, further into his room away from the opening of his door he'd been previously peering out of. His lips stretched over sharp teeth, pulling the stitches there to its limits and he could feel himself bristling at the sound of the all-too-familiar voice.

A hiss was building up in the back of the feline's throat as he responded.

"Of all the guests who left, of course YOU would stay behind."

Of course he'd be left behind with Gregory. Of course.
