Puzzle rubbed her eyes tiredly as she turned her attention away from her work. She got up from her station and stretched, groaning a bit as she did so. She made a quick beeline to Riddler’s office, keeping in mind that it’s best to not keep him waiting. “You called, Mister Nygma Sir?” Puzzle reported, trying her best to keep a professional air as to avoid disappointment, or potentially upsetting her boss.

“Yes, Mister Nygma.” Puzzle acknowledged dutifully, still keeping the formality in place. “Current task force I’m in charge of is gathering materials for the maze project. Mostly mechanical stuff for the actual riddle and puzzles. But myself, I’m currently in communications with Ivy, trying to arrange the possibility of her growing the actual hedge maze. But, we may need to stock up on building materials should she refuse to cooperate. She’s worried about her plants potentially being harmed, after all.”

Can you spare anywhere between one to three of your personnel for a small, classified operation in the coming weeks? Or will that put too much strain on the communications with Dr. Isley?

“Oh, easily. Besides, I’m handling Ivy myself. Not to gossip, but I’m not exactly sure we can leave negotiations with someone as volatile as Ivy to any of the… lower management employees, so to speak. Either way, I’m confident I can keep the lines open with her, and contribute myself and a few of my team to whatever project you have in mind.” Puzzle smiled contently, for once unafraid of such a workload.
