That would depend on who you ask. 

It was simply a tool with which I could focus my power. It aided my channeling, but not in the same way as an angreal, sa’angreal, or ter’angreal. It could not have gotten past your medallion. 

I probably would have ended up married to a man, and very well may have ended up as queen of Cairhien and no way to get out of it. Which would have been awful.

From what I understand, much of the madness stems from the taint that was on Saidin, though that is not known for sure, as non-channelers also appear mad. Perhaps with some semblance of peace and stability int he greater world and the elimination of the taint, the folks in that land will gradually become less mad and more tolerant of outsiders, but I do not know for sure. I believe that I will have more important tasks in the years to come than to risk my life traveling to such a place for no apparent cause. 

It was rather... irritating, if I may be blunt. I did have full faith in Rand that he would do well without me. I had been able to impart much of my knowledge on him before leaving. I do not know how things could have differed had I not apparently died. Perhaps I would still have been blamed rather than revered. The Wheel weaves as it wills. 

I would most likely perform a court dance while throwing balls of fire at Trollocs.
