Ask Kaiko~!

(( I know it’s toooooooo late to answer this question. I am sorry (;_;) But please let me share what I thought about this festival. I’m trying my best to explain it with my poor English skill, I hope you can understand so there will not be any misunderstanding. Fyuh..

First, I think people who celebrates Yulin Festival is cruel. Why? Because they torture the animal before they eat it.

I believe that every animals and plants were made to be human food. Some people said: “Dog/cat is not food! They are human bestfriend!”, it is because dog/cat meat is not a common food ingredients. The meat that we usually eat are beef, chicken, duck, goat meat, and pork.  

In my country, there are people/clan/ethnic group (I don’t know the right word) who eat dog meat. But they didn’t torture the dog just like people who celebrate Yulin did. That’s why I can tolerate people who eat dog meat in my country.

Once in a time, I saw a news about cattle being forced to drink water as much as possible so that their selling prices high. I think this is a same case with Yulin Festival and foie gras controversy.

Not just dog or cat. Every animals and plants are not deserved to be tortured before got eaten by us. Have you ever seen a lion that skinning its prey before finally kill and eat them? Just treat them properly.
