Hiya, folks!

The name's Jack Kelly. Some o' my pals tried t' get me ta make one o' deese ask blog thingies. Feel free t' ask whateva ya want if it ain't too weird!

Lemme put some things ya should know 'bout me:

I's 17 and the handsome leader of da Manhattan Newsies.

I live in Lower Manhattan.

I got too many dreams t' keep in my head.

I sleep on the rooftop of da lodge with my pal Crutchie.

I'm Mexican on my Ma's side and I dunno 'bout my Pa.

I don't need no folks, though. I got friends and brothers and dats all I need.

Unofficially adopted Les.

I- uh. Got a biological little brother. He ain't here no more.

I love t' paint and draw stuff.

Goin' t' Medda's is what I usually do to pass the time.

I's gonna get t' Santa Fe one day.

Hey pals! You guys can ask him any questions you want and I'm currently deciding whether the ship should be Jackcrutchie or Javey. Depends on which ever blog wants to do something first.

I'll roleplay with anyone! You don't have to be on the list that I'll have eventually. I'd be very happy to interact with literally any version of any character.

I do ask that you keep the asks somewhat normal? I've seen some a lot in my inbox about him shitting and/or digging in his butt, just a lot of questions 'bout his poop. I er it's pretty uncomfortable to see those in my inbox so I do encourage you to not ask gross questions about him. Jack will not appreciate it.

Some personal headcanons for him from me:

-Audhd + dyslexic

-Depression

-Suicidal and sometimes has episodes that can get pretty severe

-Needs some support during episodes but will never ask for it or admit it

-Constant nightmares from The Refuge, he has to be on the rooftop because the bunks in the lodging house look too much like The Refuge when it's dark

-Falls in love really easily and gets LOVESICK

-Goes to Medda's when he's stressed to paint and just to see her

-Goes full dad mode and gets really protective of the newsies when any of them are sick and/or hurt

-There's like a whole lore thing on a previous blog for Jack before I took over but he used to date Oscar but broke up with him after he hurt Crutchie. He gets pissed and really hurt, heartbroken, when anyone mentions Oscar.

-Can and will steal for his bruddahs

-Learned how to pickpocket when he was young

-Got bored and teaches some of the younger newsies how to pickpocket

-Will tell the little newsies stories and play with them, especially before they go to bed

-Plays Poker

-Has some weird exes situation with Spot

-Loves roughousing

-That man can Play
