Cranberry cocks her head, stopping in her tracks with a smile of slight confusion.

Fang Candy seems so focused on flying to their destination, they don’t seem to hear you! Rather than they look soft and sweet like before, Fang Candy in the air now looks cold, rude, and bitter. Whatever smile they had earlier has been dashed away, pupils now slits as they scan the area below.

With the grounds now empty of expected guests, Cranberry’s making her way back to the main tent, fixing her collar with a hum. She smiles at you, that warm smile she always gives out.

It’s your words that make Fang Candy let out a soft, high pitched and nervous giggle, surprised and just the slightest nervous.

“While- While it’s nice to meet you too, ‘M afraid we might not see each other much! I’m just here to- Uh-“ They roll their wrist as their brows furrow, trying to remember. “Uh....Oh! I was jus’ here to ask a few questions, heh! ‘Sides, my life isn’t that interesting-“

“Now that is such a lie-“ Cranberry cuts in, making the cookie laugh and shake their head.

When the laughter subsides, so do Fang Candy’s nerves, a soft and warm glint in their gaze as they return back to answering you.

“I’m not that interestin’, and my work is pretty hectic from time to time...I’m not sure if you’ll see more of me, or if you’d like to...”

Before the cookie can look downtrodden, a timer goes off, the beeps replaced with a soft twinkle of melodic chimes, making Fang Candy gently mutter “Oh shoot-“, grabbing at their cap. They wave at you and Cranberry, quickly spewing out a farewell.

“Apologies, I’ve got to dash! Work’s callin’ me back- I’ll talk to you lat’r, Miss Cranberry- Miss Cran!”

With another wave goodbye, Fang Candy spins on their heel and makes a small dash away, before unraveling their wings fully and jumping off the ground, taking flight and leaving the grounds.

Cranberry all but bids Fang Candy goodbye, chuckling.

“Oh! Well-“

Cranberry gently nudges the cookie to respond, causing the poor dear’s wing’s to fluff up a bit. They grab at their hat- a newsies cap- and bow down, voice sweet as honey as they introduce themselves.

“A pleasure t’meetcha! The name’s Fang! Fang Candy!”

The cap they hold onto has a cute little heart emblem on it, wings attached to the pin as Fang Candy settles it back on their head. They seem a bit perplexed to be noticed, smile a tad confused but warm nonetheless.

A soft little twinkle of bells fills the air as Cranberry turns to beam at you! Seems you’ve caught her in the middle of a conversation, but neither party seems to mind the interruption as the ringmaster replies, chipper as always.

“Oh! Hello there!” She scratches at her cheek, a tad embarrassed. “It’s a pleasure to be back! I’m afraid not too much has happened since we last met!”

Cranberry’s hand moves in a small gesture, the grounds of the circus just the same as always.

“There’s not much to comment about! I’m just talking to an old friend, heh!”

With that, the ringmaster gestures to the other cookie on the grounds, the one you caught her talking to! They flap their wings in a small greeting, chirping.
