Nations can get very busy with diplomatic talks, fights and being commanded around by their bosses, and so it can be very hard for them to get close to anybody outside of the battlefield or politics.

Imagine this, every nation has that one or two human they get attached to, a little bit to much, and they learn they’re lesson, immortals live on forever in the grand scheme of time while those meant to die will. One who is young doesn’t completely comprehend the concept of death, all they know is that person is gone and they’ll never come back. Imagine the nations, who as much as they enjoy being alive and seeing they’re country as it evolves, when they’re country finally falls, fullheartedly embraces death, as they can finally rest and have to worry not of wars, diseases, and of they’re future to come, as they’re is none and they have achieved something so wonderful that only humans and animals have. Mortality. Because immortality is the cruelest of things to ever be given
