“Mario Parties are much different than regular parties. We’re more like hosts of the parties. We do help them and see who becomes the superstar in the end. If we joined we’d probably overwhelm the competition and have some unfair advantages. We’ve never actually been to a real party or played real party games before. We want to try some. You can invite some friends if you want to make it more fun. We also need someone to set up these games.” Brighton replied.

“Hey lets go to the amusement park afterwards then. It sounds like a lot of fun!” Twila exclaimed. She sounded pretty excited about it.

“Hm… not sure if I can pull together a group big enough for a party without everyone’s schedules clashing…” Aside from half the people on his contacts list hating fun and parties, it seemed like everyone was busy a lot. “At least I know the amusement park idea won’t be a bust.”

“Well you can try. We’ll invite our friends if we don’t have enough. There’s enough of them for a party.” Brighton said.

“That’s great to hear. I’m sure we’ll have plenty of fun there!” Said Twila. A few raindrops started to come from the sky. It was obvious that it was going to rain. It won’t be very long though.

“Well we do like to watch our friends have some Mario Parties. How about some party games?” Brighton suggested.

“What kind of games do you like to play? Hey maybe after we play we can do more fun things together. The question is what other things you do you think is fun?” Twila asked.

“You… just watch them?” He had a puzzled look on his face. “I love party games, but it’s way more fun if everyone joins in! C’mon, you can’t tell me you guys don’t wanna play with your friends! I’ll play your party games only if you play with me. Because a party of one is a party lacking fun.”

Travis thought Twila’s question over. “Hard to say what I find fun, now that you mention it. I love parties and clubs and stuff. And amusement parks too, I guess? As long as I’m happy, I’m having fun?”

Being close to Twila makes all feelings of loneliness go away like when you see the moon and the stars shinning beautifully at night.

“Yeah, you two are alright.” Travis agreed. He was feeling a lot better around them, for reasons he couldn’t quite understand. It didn’t matter to him that he didn’t understand. He was just basking in the glow of the moment.
