if not for Frisk, heâd swear a whole lot more. He actively censors himself in front of them. Mostly because if he doesnât Sans will give him the longest lecture heâs ever heard. Mostly because when Frisk was 3 they were semi verbal and Papyrus swore once and that was the first word theyâd ever spoken in front of the two.

An art gifting game
Been thinking lately about a different world where the story was happier. A world where Frisk got to know their grandparents, where they got a little sister who they adore, where Frisk never had to fall into the underground, where they had a good relationship with both their human and monster grandparents. But most damning of all, how it canât exist. If Arial hadnât blocked that attack from the human, Sans wouldâve certainly died. If Friskâs bio parents hadnât thrown them into the underground, none of the story could take place. If the bad things didnât happen, it fundamentally wouldnât be the same story. One small change and the whole thing complicates.
Have you ever thought about a world where everythingâs exactly the same, but you made a different choice? The thought intrigues me.

Soooo I made a new pfp
Iâm explaining nothing and this wonât be set as the new pfp until after the story wraps
Also, I run a yt channel where I game. Iâm playing Deltarune rn, and want to get every chapter recorded before chapter 5 comes out. How does this affect Assassintale? Iâm putting everything into a03 early. You can set dates on chapters so Iâll be forward dating everything per when it would be released. Unfortunately for me but fortunately for all of you, that likely means (if I do it right) you can access the full story through my a03 profile. Only reason I say unfortunately for me is just bc itâs gonna fuck up my posting schedule. And internal schedule bc Iâm on summer break rn so posting shit is like, my only measure of time. Yt channel is N3bula St4rs if youâre interested btw.
Edit: so actually forget all of that, I canât put chapters into a date in the future. Stupid, if you ask me but yeah.
Edit 2: I FIGURED OUT I CAN PUT ALL THE CHAPTERS IN AS DRAFTS. MEAN I JUST HIT POST, NO FORMATTING REQUIRED. Anyway, chapter schedule: 27 on Monday, 28 next Friday, 29 on the 23rd, and 30 on the 25th
there was a period of time where Assassintale was going to be a fan game. The main reason I didnât go that route: I donât know how to code and Iâm not good at pixel art. But itâs always in the back of my mind. The game would still have different routes, neutral leading to how Assassintale actually ends, pacifist the good end, and genocideâŚreally fucking bad.
If anyone would like to see this made and potentially help make it I might reconsider.
youâd start out in Sans and Papyrusâs house, naturally, and one of the first options would be going to school or skipping. If you opted to skip, youâd have to face Sans that night and him asking why you skipped. If you didnât, everything would be normal. Once it gets to the point where Frisk and Fuku find blood on the ground, then you are pretty much given free rein. Thatâs as much as I figured out really.

So, I have a little announcement. Assassintale isnât ending after they get out of the Underground. For one, Iâve been working on this story for so so so long and Iâm not done yet with it. The cast getting out is the end to part one. Part two is going to narrow down about Friskâs life on the surface and how big of an adjustment human life is for them. Weâre nearing the end of part one so I just wanted to let you all know early. One thing I want people to keep in mind for part two, is that the underground was Friskâs home, it was Fukuâs home, majority of the monster population were born and raised underground with no memory of the surface. Most of the generations of grandparents and parents who remember the surface and what it was like are dead. Either dying in the war or later in the underground. Thatâs not even taking into account the ones who fell down due to the despair of not being in the sunlight anymore. Sure, Frisk was born on the surface, but their home has always been in Snowdin in that house with the weird carpet with their dad and uncle.
Oh and once I finish posting part one Iâm updating the blog to fit.
So apparently I had a drawing of Holly finished when I was thinking about doing one. Anyway this is Undyne and Alphysâs daughter Holly.
soul explanations for my au! One thing about the human soul with LV, despite the cracks, the human isnât affected the same way a mage or monster is. Humans arenât affected physically, mages and monsters will often feel physically ill or in pain while humans just get more aggressive.
Edit: this is only half the references I have, Frisk, Sans, Papyrus, Asgore, and Toriel have unique souls but that chart has spoilers :3

Some old art I canât post because I kept the concept so it has spoilers. Oh and Papyrusâs head looks like that bc I was struggling to draw his skull right. ATP I did know I wanted Sansby to be a main part of the plot. However, I also had the story much more Sans-centric and not Frisk and I felt that Friskâs perspective works a lot better for this story.

As Iâm sure youâve seen, my art style is a fair bit different now. Iâll do some digging and see if I can find the first prototypes of their designs.
