Lamb, I... I need help, something happened to Denny, I don't know what, but she wont wake up, and there's.. Something on her forehead, I haven't any idea what it could be, or what's caused it...

I've brought her to the medbay, someone was there to try and help, but...

(The Lamb listens attentively as Jade speaks, but despite Jade's clear frantic demeanor, they don't look very worried. More so confused, if anything.)

"Ah, okay, okay. Let's slow down a bit."

"What exactly happened to her? And why couldn't they help her...?"

I thought she was just asleep, so I tried to wake her up, and noticed... I don't even know what it is, some inky black mark on her forehead.

-The entire time they're speaking, they're taking deep breaths, clearly in effort to try and calm themselves down, but it's evidently not working very well.-

It's probably better if you come to the healing bay to see it.

"Well, no use in panicking right now. I'm sure we'll figure out a way to help."

(They smile and place a reassuring hand on Jade's shoulder.)

"Come in."

(They step inside, taking in a dramatically deep breath as they do so.)

(They're seated, at a table. They have two glasses of a deep red drink, served with ice. They call the Lamb over, with a beckoning gesture)

"How thoughtful! Didn't think you had it in you."

(They take a seat across from them.)

(They slide over their respective glass. Upon touching it, the moist condensation is felt.)

"It's a hibiscus drink, sort of like how tea is made. It's good. I like it, y'know."

"Hmmm, not bad."

(They scoff, somehow a little offended by the comment. They were probably (foolishly) expecting a little more than "fine".)

"Thank youuuu.. You look fine as well."

(They take a long drink of their own, a tart, fruity taste in their mouth.)

"See? If it's poison, at least we'd go together. Then it'd really be a date, huh?" (They decide not to comment on the Lamb's tone.)

(They take a second to pause, before speaking again.)

"...But should I be worried?"

(The Lamb's nail taps against the glass, one of their ears twitches at the sound. Their eyes briefly follow Poet's glass before landing back on theirs.)

"That's... Sweet. For you, at least."

(They pause, running their finger along the rim of the glass.)

"But, well, as always, you'll be back. Here you are, right? You miss me, although you may dread to admit it, I know you do!~"

(They end off, in an almost sing-songy tone, before taking a short breath.)

"Sure, have I committed a myriad of wrongdoings unto you? Have I harmed you, both physically and mentally? Yes, absolutely, I did. I was teasing you, y'know?."

"... I do miss you, I'm not afraid to say that. Maybe that's why I keep coming back... I enjoy your attention far too much to let you go."

"Is it not exactly what you wanted, though? Someone who stays no matter how many times you show them how rotten you are?"

(They cannot help but laugh, if only a little.)

"I mean, sure, yes, you did kidnap me. I mean, it was cute, y'know? I mean, you could've made the ambience a little nicer. If I'm to be kidnapped, make it a little more exciting than a dark, candlelit room. Where's the chains? Where are the old, rusty tools? At least I had a little fun, playing an organ, leaving you seated in an old, rotted wood pew. Don't tell me you forgot the barbaric, cold steel tools? I mean, sure, you have a crown, and that does you wonders, but you can't beat a dull, dirty dagger, scraping along your skin. Also, come on, where's the romance if there isn't any bloodshed? (They cannot help but laugh, if only a little.)

(Click. The door unlocks.)

"Come in."

(They step inside, taking in a dramatically deep breath as they do so.)

(They're seated, at a table. They have two glasses of a deep red drink, served with ice. They call the Lamb over, with a beckoning gesture)

"How thoughtful! Didn't think you had it in you."

(They take a seat across from them.)

(They slide over their respective glass. Upon touching it, the moist condensation is felt.)

"It's a hibiscus drink, sort of like how tea is made. It's good. I like it, y'know."

"Hmmm, not bad."

(They scoff, somehow a little offended by the comment. They were probably (foolishly) expecting a little more than "fine".)

"Thank youuuu.. You look fine as well."

(They take a long drink of their own, a tart, fruity taste in their mouth.)

"See? If it's poison, at least we'd go together. Then it'd really be a date, huh?" (They decide not to comment on the Lamb's tone.)

(They take a second to pause, before speaking again.)

"...But should I be worried?"

(The Lamb's nail taps against the glass, one of their ears twitches at the sound. Their eyes briefly follow Poet's glass before landing back on theirs.)

"That's... Sweet. For you, at least."

(They pause, running their finger along the rim of the glass.)

"But, well, as always, you'll be back. Here you are, right? You miss me, although you may dread to admit it, I know you do!~"

(They end off, in an almost sing-songy tone, before taking a short breath.)
