Help Mother Without Insurance Pay for Emergency Kidney Surgery

As some of you may know, I lost my mother November of last year. The woman mentioned in here is a close family friend and the only mother figure I have in my life right now. My best friend, her daughter, is currently attending college and a lot of expenses go to keeping her in school and paying off the rent on their home (which is a whole bunch of tea tbh). She has one kidney that has failed completely and one that is severely infected. Since she has no insurance, the hospital is asking for $60,000 up front before they’ll treat her.

I usually don’t do this kind of thing, but this is too important. This woman has been an actual mother as well as my maternal figure for years. She is the kindest, most hard working and compassionate individual you will ever meet. Even now, every time I come and see her, she smiles despite her pain and continually puts other people before herself. She is the kind of person we need more of in this world. Please, I am begging of anyone who can help to offer some aid. I can’t lose my mother twice in less than a year. Please. Even if you can’t donate, reblog! Every little bit helps.

Hey guys…

So, I don’t usually do this, but I’m in a bit of a bind. See, my mother died unexpectedly this past Friday, and I’m a little at a loss. Since my dad works long hours, this leaves me to take care of the household– groceries, stocking general house supplies, dog care, medicines, doctors appointments, etc. I’m still in school and have a boatload of other obligations, and while I DO have an hourly job, I’m not getting paid enough to cover all of this. 

Anything you could donate would help a ton, especially with funeral costs! I’ll even do a commission if you would like, but I can’t promise it to be done with incredible speed. Please. I really do need help now that I’m playing the role of honors student, hourly worker, and second head of household.
