Arial being dead sounds like the worst case scenario. I personally rather think that she had escaped that disaster somehow, by going through an opened window or door to the outside. And she's alive somewhere in the Underground, either in hiding, or still under amnesia or memory loss. I hope that either she is found and forgiven for whatever she had done, or that this mystery is solved for closure. In case of the worst case scenario, is cloning an option? Any machines in the Lab that does that?

Clarissa: i suppose we could look into it, but it would have to be something we’d all vote on

I think that this is the story about Arial, but I may be wrong. Gaster and Clarissa left baby Papyrus and baby Sans in Arial's care, when she was a skel-kid, because they thought she was responsible enough, and they couldn't find a babysitter that night. Gaster and Clarissa came home to find baby Papyrus with a accidental head wound. There were yelling, screaming, and even crying from everyone. An upset Arial ran out of the house, ran away, and was considered to be lost and never found again.

Gaster: For the most part, yes, but she was actually a bit older

Clarissa: and my assistant

Sans: I’m not sure why I remember this so clearly, but she had anger issues for a while, but she was the only one to take care of us

Gaster: We came home to a burning house, we went in and got Sans and Papyrus out of there

Clarissa: but… we never found arial, and with the dust and ash from what used to be our house, we couldn’t tell if she had gotten out

Gaster: One thing we may want to mention, she used fire magic for the most part, so we assumed she had a meltdown, and, well, you can guess from there
