How to cause second-hand embarrassment:

We all know this has been a long time coming. 

While I’m in the process of getting back to the askblog (which I keep delaying due to real life complications), I figured that a url change might be a nice touch. the original was catchy, but a little too vague on what kind of blog it was and who it was about just from the title. 

 I just wanted to let you all know that the friends I’ve made through this askblog and the encouragement and feedback here have been really special to me, and I wanted to thank everyone who’s following me for making this blog a success. 

So! I decided to make a lobby for Hunter x Hunter on epicmafia.

It’s a chat-based game where you’re assigned random roles and use your abilities to find and weed out who’s lying. If you’ve ever played the game Mafia at school or Werewolf, it’s a very similar game.

You’re assigned either village or mafia with a role that can investigate, give out items, or any other kind of role to help your team. Village has to find the mafia and lynch them, and the Mafia’s goal is to kill as many villagers as they can. Once the mafia outnumbers the village, the mafia wins.

There are day and night cycles. During the day chat, the town discusses what they’ve found out and attempt to single out the mafia. During the night, the mafia meets by themselves to decide who to take out. If powerful village role reveals who they are, however, there’s a bigger chance the mafia will target them. It’s all about deceit and getting people to turn to your side.

There are decks that are used at the beginning of the match to randomly assign you a character. There are multiple hxh decks with a lot of different characters, and I intend on making a few myself. A lot of the time we’ll play the role of the character we get, and sometimes we’ll act out of character just for fun.
