This is a Phighting! RP blog for Traitorspace in which I will be showing my interpretation of the character. Note that it is not limited to him, and other characters are available for asks as well, specifically other members of the church, however I wish to center my focus on Subspace.

This blog is run by one mod, hi!! This is my first attempt at one of these, I sure hope it goes well.

In here you might find angst, ships (medtraitor) and maybe mischaracterization. Note that will be full of headcanons.

── ⟢ ・⸝⸝ TIMELINE

The original events happen just as in the game, however due to unknown reasons, which are up to you to find out, Subspace had to flee his region, and stumbled upon the Church of the True Eye.

Subspace is currently on Scythe’s team, which includes her, Broker and Medkit. Use this information as you wish!

You will notice Subspace’s character is incredibly different due to the events mentioned before.

Once again, this is my interpretation of Traitorspace, so 90% of things over here are head canons of mine. I do my best to keep the key details of him as a person though.

Turning, he's met with the sight of Scythe leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed. Her smirk is sharp, the light casting shadows across her face. "Mornin' Jewel."

She shifts, sauntering into his lab. "I got ya' a gift."

A large bag is dropped before him on his desk, narrowly missing the delicate electronics spread across the surface. Whatever is within makes a loud thunk.

She leans against his desk, looking at her nails as she hums. "Noticed they forgot to get ya a coolin unit... can't be having one of my boys melting in this heat."

[He eyes the bag with caution, curious despite himself. He quickly assumes it’s new equipment or something similar.]

“They forgot”? Everyone else had a cooling unit but me?

OKAYYY I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TOOOOOO. These are more centered towards Subspace and not necessarilyy Traitor BUT they’re sorta important to my characterization or just to mee

He’s a scolopendra subspinipes hybrid. It’s annoying and uncomfortable for him to have to stand still and walk slow for long periods. His legs are made to run (these centipedes are cursorial predators so they move constantly. Standing still is tension for them) so yeah, hyperactive

Subspace had this complex in which he gaslit himself into believing he was truly Blackrock’s greatest, but always lived with the insecurity of remembering it was technically medkit who made him since it’s stated in the wiki Medkit made the crystals into energy. To add to this, I feel like his obsession in catching him made him subconsciously sabotage his capture in deeply repressed fear that once Medkit were back, his superiors would have put him on a pedestal and throw Subspace away

His crystal is unstable and bound to him, when his emotions are really intense, the crystal’s brightness and the pressure inside it increase. During anger/panic attacks it can shatter. The explosion can leave him stunned for a while and make him loose balance through messing with his hearing (a very loud noise ringing inside his head for a while after it)

As seen in the QNA he talks about the future a lot, saying it’s useless to think about “what ifs” too. Despite this, he often thinks of the past a lot, reaching a point in which he envies himself from before, and at the same time resents his actions.

OKAY i’ll shut up now, I LOVEEE yapping about this.

Fun fact, If I posted one head canon every day, i’d be able to go up to almost a year of JUST Subspace headcanons!

All his life he’s been very proud of his horns, and even after the fight with Medkit he still liked how they looked, after all, they’re the one thing about him that didn’t change with the poison and his unhealthy body. If his horns were to break, his reaction would not be pretty at all. It HURT to dye them teal

Broker knows exactly what he did in Blackrock in terms of the inphernal experimentation and mentions it to bribe or simply annoy Subspace. He gets very defensive over it, not bc he regrets it tho

What are your headcanons for Traitorspace?

Traitorspace is EXTREMELY jumpy and flinches at literally any kind of touch. When somebody (for example) taps him to get his attention

He HAS to feel productive. He gets anxious whenever he’s not doing something, as part of the reason he joined the church wasn’t sole protection, but he wanted to feel needed despite leaving all behind

Similar to Sword and Medkit, he’d have a familial relationship with Rocket and Zuka which I HOPEFULLYYY will be able to expand in this blog

He’d faint a lot. The medicines and I.V. were given to him by blackrock, and he was reminded to take them by Gamma, having lost access to both, he needs to eat normal food, which he forgets to do almost all the time

Since this is an AU i have a tiny bit more freedom over my hcs :>
